Bespoke Musik follows up their acclaimed VA: Volume One with Powelstad, an EP that is equal parts groove and storytelling, courtesy of longtime collaborators (and borderline telepathic duo) Powel and Christian Voldstad.

The story began in 2015 at Brooklyn’s Lot 45, where Powel dazzled on the decks and a young Christian Voldstad warmed up the crowd, proving that even scrappy openers can steal hearts. Nearly a decade of countless B2B sets, Burning Man, Berlin, and beyond, the two have fine-tuned their chemistry and along the way, listeners coined the name “Powelstad”.

Powelstad EP is the result of more than a year of collaborative sessions in Powel’s Berlin studio. It’s a concise expression of both artists' shared musical tastes, incorporating hardware synthesizers and recorded organic instruments. Rounding things out is a stunning remix by Samihe of Minds Alike Records—because perfection always needs a cherry on top.

Full of playful textures and understated emotion, the release threads jazz-inspired instrumentation, lush atmospheres, and crisp rhythms into a tapestry of dreamlike movement. It opens with “ An Old Sea ,” a moody daydream of brushed percussion, off-kilter piano, and brass notes that echo the mood of a late-night jazz café. “There In The Mirror ” brings a soulful swing and laid-back groove, where restrained melodies and gentle keys float above a warm low-end. We’re proud to share a special release from Argentinian artists Bodaishin & Izhy — a collaboration rooted in deep connection, crafted across continents, and shaped over years of friendship and shared vision.

It all began when Izhy sent a photo of the forest, resonating with the spirit of Saisons — a quiet nod to nature, cycles, and inner stillness. That spark led to a collaboration with Bodaishin, and years later, a reconnection in Spain where Kora, Izhy, and Bodaishin shared music, moments, and something that felt like family.

The result is Daimoku — a sonic meditation that echoes the Buddhist practice of chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, known for its power to transform from within. This idea unfolds through three distinct interpretations:

The Original: contemplative, spacious, alive with subtle textures and organic layers — crafted between South America and Europe, slowly evolving with time.
