Premiere: Thaddeus X - Voices In My Head (feat. SIGMA) [Minds Alike]

In the face of war and uncertainty, artists Amas and Konstantin Kost present "Odessa," an EP that transcends boundaries and captures the essence of human perseverance. Created amidst the turmoil of the Ukrainian conflict, this techno and deep techno collection speaks to the resilience of spirit and the power of music to connect us all.

"Red Glow" (ft. Tanya) opens the EP with a haunting repetition of "LOVE" and "FEAR," encapsulating the daily reality of living in a war-torn city. "Nightcall" guides us through the darkness, its rhythmic refrain "through the night" symbolizing hope and endurance. "Old Kings," inspired by Percy Bysshe Shelley's "Ozymandias," critiques the enduring power of oppressive leaders, while "Talk to God" features Konstantin Kost reading from Taras Shevchenko's poignant poem "A Cloud Floating Behind the Sun," evoking a longing for peace and harmony.

Despite never meeting in person, Amas and Konstantin Kost have forged a powerful connection through their music. "Odessa" is a celebration of art's boundless nature and a testament to the unbreakable human spirit in times of adversity. The cover art, featuring the port of Odessa, symbolizes hope for a future where the city's beauty and resilience will once again be shared with the world.

Premiere: Amas & Konstantin Kost - Red Glow (feat. Tanya) [Amas Studio]

For Kiosk ID catalog no. 031, Argentinian upstart Manucho cooks up a slow-burning seance of enveloping melodics, stripped groove structures, and heaving fields of synth-crazed emotionality. Across eight tracks, the Barcelona-based DJ and producer plumbs the depths of his deeply melodic vision, delivering five distinct dancefloor energies alongside three inspired reimaginations by Jorke, thea & schtu, and Martin Cozar.

Blazing patterns of morphing saw waves are at the energetic core of Manucho’s sublime brand of electronic dance music. ‘Uni’ opens the EP with intricate soundscapes and powerful anthemic qualities: a morphing hook builds and gradually disintegrates, reforming into
erratically cycling waves of searing emotive stabs.

Thea & schtu’s rendition artfully transforms ‘Uni’ into an acoustic down-tempo ballad of delicately morphing blips, celestial
pads, and sweeping sawtooth chords.

‘Yuzu’ delivers a warm, down-tempo tranquilizer with
a pulsating synth mantra, incandescent blips, and an array of electric strings that explode
into bursts of uplifting emotionality.

On ‘Idea Reset,’ Manucho morphs his stripped drum structures into a throbbing cascade of metallic bells and blips. Reverberating synth figures delicately bubble to the surface, conjuring a soothing hypnotic throb with blinding bursts of melodic beauty.

The first of two remixes strips ‘Idea Reset’ to its shuddering core: transmuting the original’s subdued melodies into a hovering, cavernous ambiance, Jorke turns ‘Idea Reset’ into a relentless
dancefloor mantra built around a scorching acid line.

Martin Cozar's version ups the energy,
reimagining ‘Idea Reset’ as a floor-focused peak-time groover with surging electric stutters set to darkly booming low-end.

‘Art for Someone Else’ delivers troves of floor-focused energy with a staccato bassline, detuned, hovering synths, and an infectious arpeggio.

Finally, the title track ‘Mazuma’ brings
Manucho’s signature soundscapes to their creative apex: an opulent orchestra of mangled electric impacts, phasing pads, and blippy, pitch-bending synths merge into a dancefloor-centric vision brimming with maximalist melodics, beautifully rounding off a tour
de force of unique energies anchored in Manucho’s overwhelmingly melodic style.

With Kiosk no. 031, Manucho builds on his uncompromising vision of deep, expansive, and highly danceable melodics. ‘Mazuma’ ends up an artful vessel for pure dancefloor serenity: dynamic, floor-focused, and with a powerful and life-affirming sense of beauty and hope
transported in every sound.

Presenting 'The Sunbeam,' - the latest EP from Den Macklin, with an immersive combination of melodic grooves and emotive rhythms.

Captivating remixes by Adrian Font and VieL each put a different style and flair into Den Macklin's original track. Also included is a special vocal mix by Greenage, adding a fresh layer of depth and emotion.

Premiere: Den Macklin - The Sunbeam (Extended Mix)  [Where the Shadow Ends]

A pioneering figure in the house music scene for over two decades, Joeski continues to show his mastery in blending rhythmic grooves with emotional depth. Known for his signature fusion of classic house with Afro and Latin influences, the Brooklyn-born, Queens-raised DJ/producer and Maya label boss has maintained his influential presence globally, with releases on an endless list of leading labels. Here, he delivers once again with an impressive return to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels imprint with ‘Music Is My Home’ —a track that merges rhythmic beats with regular collaborator Troy Dillard’s emotive vocals.

“This is a continuation of my collaboration with Troy Dillard from over 20 years ago when we worked on ‘Hold on to Your Love’, which went on to become my biggest record. Reuniting with Troy and working on this project has been special.” - Joeski.

‘Music Is My Home’ is a sonic journey, paying homage to the roots of house while showcasing Joeski's seasoned touch. Led by Dillard’s impassioned vocals, the track’s soulful rhythm, deep bassline, and atmospheric melodies make it a standout and emotive slice of modern house music. Label favourite Made By Pete steps up on remix duties, with the UK talent delivering an expansive production aimed at the dancefloor with wonky grooves and swirling synths, perfect for after-hour moments. Rounding out the release is the ‘Dub’ mix, a stripped-back version that lets the groove speak for itself.

What an honor to have been asked to play the closing set during the Super Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse that took place on  September 27, 2015. Total Eclipse begins around 1 hour mark.

Recorded live at Moontribe Full Moon Gathering, somewhere in Mojave Desert, California. This certainly was quite the magical experience for me, transcending time and space!

Happy May, everyone! I'm pleased to share this new mix with you.

These last few months, I've been working on observing the shift within my taste as a DJ, producer, and label head. I find that these moments of self reflection help move ambiguous implicit decisions to explicit artistic choices. This helps me move closer to operating with artistic fearlessness.

I'm spending more time reaching outside the boxes I’ve been sitting in, while at the same time keeping a foot in the door as a nod to where I’ve come from. This diffusion between worlds is what's most exciting to me at the moment. Hopefully you too.

Oft verbringt arkadiusz. seine Zeit in seiner Hütte im Wald und wir nehmen an, er widmet seine Energie dem Geheimnis der Bäume und in diesem Fall der musikalischen Umsetzung. 
Danke dir für diesen mystischen Waldspaziergang auf den du uns da mit nimmst Arka!

Die Natur ist im Grunde ein zauberhafter Ort der Harmonie und des Gleichgewichts. Zugleich wohnt in ihr eine geheimnisvolle Kraft die wir Menschen nicht vollends verstehen können, aber umso mehr schätzen. Wir Ernähren uns von ihr, nutzen Sie als Baustoff und erholen uns darin. Doch das Gleichgewicht zwischen Leben und leben lassen ist schon lange vorbei. Der Mensch als raffgieriges, unendlich wachsen wollendes Tier will aber immer mehr von ihr. Da die Natur, ja auch die Bäume, keine dem Menschen verständliche Sprache haben (ja sie kommunizieren!!!), hält er sie sprichwörtlich in Sklavenschaft. Statt sie zu respektieren und in ihrer Vielfalt zu schützen, nutzte er Sie aus bis nichts mehr da war und auch er, ja der Mensch selbst verschwand... So war es vor tausenden Jahren und so wird es wieder sein, wenn der Wahnsinn nicht endlich aufhört. Denn die Natur braucht den Menschen nicht. Der Mensch aber diese umso mehr. Es ist Zeit zum Aufwachen, auch wenn es wahrscheinlich viel zu spät ist.
Meine Aufnahme möchte der Natur, hier den Bäumen als Herrscher der Wälder, eine musikalische Stimme geben die jeder von euch verstehen kann. Nämlich Harmonie, Leichtigkeit und Sinnlichkeit.

Basically nature is a magical place of harmony and balance. At the same time, there is a mysterious power in it that we humans cannot fully understand, but appreciate all the more. We feed on it, use it as a building material and relax in it. But the balance between living and letting live is long gone. Humans, as greedy animals that want to grow infinitely, always want more from it. Since nature, and even the trees, have no language that humans can understand (yes they communicate !!!), he literally keeps them in slavery. Instead of respecting them and protecting them in their diversity, he took advantage of them until nothing was left and he too, yes man himself disappeared ... That is how it was thousands of years ago and that is how it will be again if the madness does not finally end stops. Because nature doesn't need people. But this is even more the case for humans. It's time to wake up, even if it's probably way too late.
My recording would like to give nature, here the trees as rulers of the forests, a musical voice that each of you can understand. Namely harmony, lightness and sensuality.

Claudio Capo’s Tanzgemeinschaft has been ruling the melodic and techno charts now, with the label owner’s shrewd A&R skills quickly turning the label into a constant force in the Beatport charts.
Always looking to spotlight some of electronic music’s best up-and-comers, the label’s latest release is a brilliant remix package of the North South Project’s Black Shadows. The label’s 19th release, Black Shadows proved a highlight of the label’s 2020 catalogue. Suffice to say, this is a remix package that pays homage to the release in quite emphatic fashion. First out of the traps is Pedro Mercado’s stunning interpretation. A brilliantly musical remix, it sets us on the way in quite expert fashion. Melodic, captivating and keeping our attention firmly clocked throughout, its warm, sun-inducing vibes are the perfect anecdote to these colder climes.
The second remix comes at us from Spanish artists EKDK, who takes the spine-tingling brilliance of the original and turns it into something quite emphatic indeed. Keeping the original’s melancholic vibes intact, it’s a perfect slice of hypnotic techno that’s deserving of a large stage.
Closing out matters is Montenegro artist Buba, a man who perfectly encapsulates the label’s penchant for signing talented new producers. Though his remix retains less of the original’s vibes, it nonetheless coasts along at a quite frantic and banging pace, barely stopping for breath as it lets its dancefloor intentions known.
