This is a long time coming. Thanks to all my friends and the people who make The Lodge happen every single year. It is without a doubt one of the most impactful musical events of my life... every single year. This mix was inspired by a desire to "emotionally pre-game" the dancing. There's some longing, some excitement, some statements of purpose, and ultimately like every performance at the lodge it's an ode to my love for that place, those people, and the time outside of time. I love playing bouncy and sunny, but for a long time I have felt none of the sort. Call it anticipation for the end of summer; call it common sense, given the current state of the world. 

Microaggressions is a series aimed at being an introspective exercise to feed internal cravings. It is music to make you feel - the good and the bad, the lights and the shadows. 

This first mix is a spontaneous assemblage of music that has stirred my feelings lately. Ambient, deep, percussive tracks with some occasional gentle violence. 

It is about personal freedom and trusting my intuition.

Wherever this mix takes you, I hope you embrace the journey.
