Australia's Dallas Keenes sent in this little number the other day and included a nice letter about how Double Bass Mania II helped inspire him to nail a few tunes he had been working on. Good enough, we thought. Good to hear we helped another musician out.

But, then, we played the mp3 he sent in.

Besides nearly ripping our ears off from the sheer power, it just stunned us. It is pure and unabated sonic brutality. It is unrelentless aggression. It is spawn from a depth of mankind most of us cannot fathom nor want near us. And, we only got a one minute excerpt of the song! Trust us, the full track would require you to step away from the computer, go shower, get someone to hug you and tell you that life will be OK.

So, be warned. Don't listen to this tune at work or around anyone you care about. It may cause irreparable physical, emotional, and psychological scars. It may prove handy, though, if you are looking to scare off some pesky neighborhood kids or animals.

All hyperbole aside, enjoy this brutal fashioning of the extreme heavy metal drum loops found on Double Bass Mania II. And, be sure to send off some kind words of praise to Dallas at his email address below.
