Since the release of her 2013 breakout Pushin’ Against A Stone, June has been patiently at work in the garden of song, nurturing seedlings with love and care into the lush bloom that is her stunning new album, The Order Of Time. Some songs grew from seeds planted more than a decade ago, others blossomed overnight when she least expected them to, but every track bears the influence of time. See, time has been on June’s mind a lot lately. It’s the only constant in life, even though it’s constantly changing. It’s the healer of all wounds, the killer of all men. It’s at once infinite and finite, ever flowing with twists and turns and brutal, churning rapids that give way to serene stretches of placid tranquility. Emcee Jock aka Black Frost, is a native of the Cali Bay Area, with universal appeal. A true warrior of the Hip-Hop culture, with soul and funk influences. In 1987, he was first filmed rapping @Fremont High School Rally(Sunnyvale). 1988 was the beginning of what has been a long, but, learning journey. "Sending out demos to various labels was essential back then" Jock said.  Arista Records sent his demo back. He visited and talked to Profile Records.. "They didn't want to keep the lights on any longer I guess haha". Jock laughs. Ruthless Records (Jerry Heller) called the house and.. "Well, at least he called to say he was interested, just not at this time" says Jock.  This west coast lyricist has been at his craft for quite some time now, whether it's writing monsterpieces or staying fresh rockin' shows.  "Being a San Jose Juneteenth vet. (1990,1991,1993),has helped my performance and notoriety early on", Jock claims. Most recently Jock has performed @2013 California State Fair alongside J. Black(3- time Western Idol Icon Award Winner). Also, Jock is recording on mixtape projects with rap gorilla, Marcus Ryan(The Asylum,[Turning Over]A New Leaf).
