Hello, my name is Olaf Stando (though apparently I was meant to be called Dave) and I'm a singer-songwriter.
I am 18 years old, and even though I have only played guitar and sung for a year, music instantly became my absolute passion.
After intensively learning guitar on Youtube, I started writing my own songs, inspired by a variety of artists such as Lewis Watson, Kodaline, City & Colour and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.

I have released my debut single "Hand in Hand" in April 2013, followed by the "Horizons" EP in October. Seeing it peak at the 43rd spot in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter Charts gave me hope that unsigned artists can also achieve something.
I am constantly developing as a musician, exploring different genres and experimenting with new sounds. 

I have a strange tendency of writing songs on cramped modes of public transport - in fact, 4/6 of my EP was written on commuter trains. Hope you enjoy, and if you do, please share and rate! Much love x
