A bit of a hot mess of a first experiment with Sonic Pi, but a good yardstick to improve on and fun to mess around with some ambient sound and very slow live coding! Recording straight out of SonicPi environment, warts and all.

Sonic Pi Experiment 1

This is my first project with Binaural Multi-tracked recording.  I tried to employ motion of sounds and parts in the space of the recording, as well as some clear binaural effects.  I recorded most of the guitar parts to cassette tape, and then played them through an amplifier which was re-recorded using a homemade binaural head setup.  Bass was recorded underneath the head, adding a pretty booming bass sound.  

The song was composed and written by me, the first thing I've recorded of myself in years.  A huge thanks goes out to Kevin Church, who learned and recorded the drum tracks in an hour and a half, and Wesley Graham, who recorded 2 guitar solos for the project and was there for support and help throughout the project.
