(MillyWatt [J.Milly & Freckly D] DirtyBass.FM; More Bass; One Eye Crew; Nanobots; Depth Perception; Prism; Sid & Nancy [J.Milly & Blak Lotus]; Streetwise [J.Milly & Mindfeed]) J.Milly (aka Milly, Miller Massive, Mr. Miller, Old Man Miller) is an artistic musical storyteller. He first heard Jungle in 1993 and immediately fell in love with the sound. In 1996 J.Milly tried his hand at DJing and spinning Jungle,  although he didn't get serious about it until '98, when he and Illy Emcee formed the One Eye Crew. They started organizing, promoting, and throwing their own parties throughout Baltimore, MD and began to make a name for themselves. In 2003 the two went their separate ways but they each continued down their own musical paths. Now J.Milly is part of the Nanobots with Counterintelligence, Thumper, Kyng O' Thievez, and Mindfeed, is one half of "Sid & Nancy" with Blak Lotus, and is also one half of "Streetwise" with Mindfeed. And he continues mashing up parties in Baltimore and up and down the Eastcoast of the United States. He has done many guest appearances on many different streaming platforms for a number of different hosts and has hosted his own streaming broadcasts for MoreBass.com and DirtyBass.FM. J.Milly loves the opportunities he gets to spin out at events, but his true passion and inspiration comes through with his special style of mixing and storytelling on his mixtapes.

DJ Nysus eats, sleeps and breathes dance music. Whether its Breakbeats, Funk, DnB, House, Psy or Techno, his skill and passion for the music he loves is undeniable and contagious. His signature series "Breakbeat United" features mixes so meticulously crafted they have created an almost cult-like following, and continue to influence both the local and regional breaks scenes for the better. He is equally renowned for putting on jaw dropping live sets that ignite dance floors and make instant fans out of anyone lucky enough to witness them. With over 25 years behind the decks professionally the list of legends he has played alongside is staggering. From the Buzz & Starscape eras in the rave scenes early days, to becoming a staple in the East Coast festival scene his old school roots run deep. Now expanding to the West Coast desert party scene his storied career continues.

How do you even begin to describe the anomaly that makes up the man we've all come to know and love? He's taken the east coast by storm over the last two decades, and has no intention of letting up. From promoting for Ultraworld and Club Sonar in Baltimore, to promoting Buzzlife at The Capitol Ballroom in DC in the 90's, to President of the independent record label Faction Digital Recordings, Contraversy is no stranger to hard work and knows what it takes to get the job done.

It was the friendships that had blossomed during that time that led Contraversy to creating the crew that would be known as VAs Finest in August of 2005. Over a decade later, VAs Finest is thriving more than ever. Everything from basic support and promotion, having their own VAs Finest stage at shows, and putting on there very own shows and festivals, providing everything from sound and lighting, to their very own design team, creating a feel and vibe that could be rivaled with most. VAs Finest has gained quite the reputation of being a powerhouse, while maintaining their integrity as a group of underground artists, and spreading the love.

With his DJ career taking off in 2006, pulling from his early influences of hip-hop and metal, his style of mixing and blending track after track seamlessly, definitely had not gone by unnoticed. In only a 2 year time span, Contraversy 
had gained the recognition from multiple promoters and the like, playing a substantial amount of shows all up and down the east coast gaining a loyal following along the way. In the year 2010, he was the most booked Drum and Bass DJ in the tri-state area.

With guest mixes being featured on podcasts such as Best Drum and Bass with Abducted LTD, NCDNB Radio Sunday Sessions, Expansion Broadcast, and Dirtbox Radio, you can find a Contraversy mixes from coast to coast. It's his original productions like "Chaos" and "Sci-Fi" that truly set him apart from others. Both tracks soaring up the charts, it was "Sci-Fi" that made it into the top 10, then firming planting itself within the top 50 for over an astonishing 5 months.
 
His role as President of Faction Digital Recordings is only another way for him to express his emotions and undying love for the music. Being able to work with like minded artists and be able to shape and form the future to his and his artists liking, yet keeping the underground vibe and spreading that mind set in all business aspects of his music career has enabled him to stay true to his roots. Keeping the mainstream companies from coming in, hes able to allow his artists to have the creative freedom that all passionate artists deserve.

With his involvement in the scene, and his career as a DJ, Contraversy has more then proven that he's a worthy contestant. He is ever growing and ever evolving to bigger and better on a daily basis. There is a strong "ContrAversiaL" concept brewing, second by second, minute by minute, beat by beat, that this man is changing not only the way we listen to music, but the way that we view it as a whole.
