Jake Penn (fka Mumukshu), founder of Minimal Audio, makes dynamic, bass-driven music.

Josiah is a San Francisco Architect with a long running music problem.  His love of music started at the age of 16, playing guitar and bass in Bands with deep roots in Rock n' Roll, Blues and Reggae music.  Later discovering electronic music and DJ'ing through Burning Man he has become a staple in the West Coast Burning Man,  Club, and Underground House Music scene.  Always tailoring his sets to the dance floor at hand, Josiah produces some magical dance moments with a wide variety of electronic music, from beautiful sunset vibes to club bangers to live guitar sets.  He specializes in drawing on a variety of influences, mixing in Latin music, Dancehall, RnB Hip Hop, Disco, Rock n' Roll, Funk and Soul seamlessly into his sets along with the newest rare cuts and west coast house music. It’s easy to see the problems in our world: chronic diseases, gun violence, substance misuse, toxic water... What’s often less obvious are the conditions in our communities that help create these problems, and that ultimately point to smart solutions. Moving Upstream tells the stories of people and communities that are finding surprising and inspiring ways to transform these conditions and prevent the problems from happening in the first place.

Dj Andrei Star
sets a brilliant atmosphere for people who love to dance.  His sets of Tech House, Minimal, Progressive House and Tribal drums are filled with energetic love for House Music, and while his Deep House grooves for pre-parties or after-after parties have earned him devotees across US and beyond.

DJ ANDREI STAR began spinning in the late 80s in San Francisco and spun through the early 90s "Summer of Love 2."  
In 1994 Andrei  went Corporate as a  Network Administror for World Renowned companies Oracle and Levis Strauss to name a few.   

In 2000 Andrei returned to the Party scene in San Francisco to Spin again and took up residencies and guest spots at The Cloud 9 Hotel, Zendo, Mighty, Loft 11, Sno-Drift, Whisper, Skylark Lounge and numerous loft and underground parties. 

In 2005 Andrei Star went to Miami and was the resident DJ at the Spy Lounge (Catalina Hotel), Royal Bar, Ruby Lounge, Amika, Players, SOBE LIVE, W6, Chesterfield Hotel and played at many others.

DJ Andrei Star  life had a significant turn of bad luck and for the next 5 years  battled a form of Cancer and lived in pain and retreated into isolation until it was finally diagnosed correctly, but then he had surgery and now with the grace of the Universe has almost fully recovered.  

DJ Andrei Star  is back once again, 8 years later,  to reclaim his spot as a DJ in San Francisco, with his new Deep House to Dark Minimal Tech Vibes that show his true Love for House Music.
