DJ Darren P and DJ Paul Carass have joined forces to create an
exciting new touring club night called MASH UNIT - Club Tour.
In recent years, the "Mashup" scene has exploded and even the main
artists have jumped onboard this themselves releasing their own
remixes of their own songs to create hype for the original!
(in it's simplest forms a Mashup is when two songs are joined together
to create one. i.e. Taking the vocal of one track and combining it
with the instrumental or backing track of another)

Background to MASH UNIT DJ's:
Darren and Paul both have national recognition and are considered
Ireland's top mashup DJs. Paul is currently running successful touring
nights in the Meath and Dublin regions (Monster Mashup Tour)
He is also now working with The Signature Group and has residencies in
many top clubs (The Palace Navan, Dandelion Dublin and The Palace in
Camden St)
Darren, a dj now for over 16 years, has worked at every angle of djing
and also worked in radio for 6 years.
Last year Darren played at Oxygen Festival 2011, won DJ competitions
at Tripod Dublin and Karma Nightclub Galway. Has multiple residencies
around the South West (Queens Nightclub Ennis, Club D'Ville
Charleville, Knoxs Ennis, Hurlers Limerick) and has played many more
clubs over the years.
His Mashup mixes are regularly featured on radio (RTE Pulse, Spin
South West) And Paul's too on LMFM Radio.
Plus, Paul & Darren were the only DJs to have mixes played weekly on
daytime radio all throughout last Summer on the Ray Foley Show on
Today FM (Mix It Friday)!
