for this months episode of INVITADXS, host neeyuu invited nasty lecka and 2uca from würzburg. nasty lecka is a resident dj at dornheim, part of the “avoid the subject” collective and co-running a party series called supersport. 2uca is neeyuus long-time djing and producing partner in their project sollbruchstelle. nasty lecka and 2uca have just started a new party series in würzburg together, focusing on slower, low-key clubmusic. their beton.fm b2b represents this sound and is quite dark, bassy and dubby while being very danceable. we hope you enjoy!

Now based in Cologne, she is a substantial part of Radio 80000, a project and ongoing community work that meanwhile influences the scene of electronic and non-electronic music far beyond Munich. Mix 13 comes to us from the infinitely talented Brooklyn NY artist @cadesss a master of live sets, hardware manipulation, dj curation and overall electronic music history buff, we are very excited to have him on the series. This mix is a vinyl-only mix of dub and 90s techno, now playing on the soundcloud page. We sat down with him a few questions to introduce himself-

Whats your name and where are you from?
Ian Cades and I’m originally from Georgia, moved to the city in 2018.

Can you tell us about the mix?
I’m not a very good mix planner, my collection is split up wildly across multiple hard drives, USBs, lot of vinyl, 2 different laptops, etc. so when i work on a mix I tend to just gravitate towards whatever’s been my recent additions. This whole mix is 140 bpm but hops all over the place.

What you are currently working on that you are most excited about?
I have a big live set I’m prepping for in the summer that is taking up most of my free time. I also just wrapped up an EP for release this week that is entirely club focused and I think is my most concise work yet.

Any hobbies outside of music?
Feeding birds in my neighborhood 


Where can we see you perform next? Any upcoming gigs?
I’ll be opening for Versa end of May for SBE! I’ll be doing a dub live set with a touch of IDM and glitch.
