The creative process of SHAKYA's music often takes shape amidst the sounds of pans and the buzz of customers in the restaurant where he works as a chef, and it is for this reason that his music rings true. 
His songs are a celebration of the preciousness of life and exhort us to always be ready to react at crucial moments, realizing that the obstacles in our path are actually an opportunity to toughen us up and move us forward with ever greater determination.
 
SHAKYA, born Emanuele Sireci, is an eclectic singer and artist of Italian origin.
Trained in Palermo's Hip Hop scene, over the years he has refined his style through the Reggae and Soul influences that distinguish his music, steeped in the poetry of the Italian singer-songwriter school, and has turned towards the more modern international scene by choosing to express himself also in English or French.

Aux manettes de ce projet, Don Gregor, doté d'une longue expérience dans la musique, 
particulièrement dans le reggae d'abord comme Selecta (DJ) ainsi que chanteur de reggae francophone, 
deviendra Beatmaker, producteur pour spécifiquement l'élaboration d'instrumentales pour ces projets.

C'est plus tard que le projet prendra forme, attiré par les sonorités puissante et dynamique du dub, 
ainsi qu'une forte envie d'exprimer une créativité débordante, il mettra donc au point ce projet reggae dub, 
une formule mêlant mélodies et rythmique puissante, des basses du groove, 
une influence des sonorités venues d'Asie, ainsi que des collaborations avec des chanteurs de talent, 
le tout mixé en live.

Shiny D is a musician, singer and producer based in Rome active since many years in the italian musical scene.
He is part of several musical projects among the others Torpedo Sound Machine, The Right Stuff and Magnetica Leoni. He collaborated with international artists such as Lee Scratch Perry, Dawn Penn, Turbulence, Dr Ring Ding, Jah Sun, Havoc from Mobb Deep, Askala Selassie, Lone Ranger, Skarramucci and Roy Ellis.
