Gyorgy Ono explores fragmentation through a spice of occult exotica from spoken word, hissy cassette experiments, and slithery snake rhythms amongst blissfully delinquent ambiances. His acts of sonic recycling recontextualize borrowed sounds, fabricating their new purpose and infusing life into the archaic. Mapping a sound-world which delves into arcane stratospheres and probing melancholic, beguiling and wayward realms from far-flung corners of the universe. By cross-dressing of styles and periods, Ono unearths connections that form alliances, bridging the gaps in the sonic-constellation. A timelessness arises from this sonic archaeology, encompassing the visceral, serene, cathartic, and absurd.

After a little summer break, Aquatic Gardens returns with music exploration from all types of scenes. During the holidays, we had the pleasure to meet https://soundcloud.com/armando-savatteri, a native of the Sicilian islands that guided us in the discovery of their beauty.

He is curly and warm like a Mediterranean soul, one that does not recognize the boundaries of music selection but only its magic power. Digging deep into record mines, he has brought unthinkable compositions from the 80s and 90s back to the present light. In this vinyl-only set, he gives us a demonstration of what can be found in the archives of ancient collectors of dance music and how it can be combined into a symphony of stories.

There is an unusual flavor of progressive house, electro, and disco from another dancing generation who are the protagonists of this mix, a cheerful company of synths and vocals that lighten the hearts and boost imagination. Enjoy the sound.

Strap in for deep, driving hypnosis from eery to etheral, with no stone inbetween left unturned.

"A lone traveller emerges from their crash-landed ship upon Plantera, uncertain of what land is before them and what mysteries await. Through the dense, purple mist a marshy woodland appeared. A luminous curiosity pulses from the forest that surrounds this lone wonderer, inviting them to explore with aimless enthusiasm.

Taking them through thick fog bewilderment with shimmers of panic2, enducing sporadic segments of sprinting for safety. Morphing through lucid curiosity into dark and dense dashes of adrenaline; always questioning 'where am I?' somehow their thoughts echoed off the surrounding trees, thick of reverberating thought bubbles. 

Despite a desire to feel scared, the wonderer somehow felt comforted by the surrounding vast atmosphere of Plantera. Ascending to the utopic tree city that inhabits the fog land, the local colony offers nourishment and peace to rest with ease, only a taster of the endless beauty that Plantera can offer"

On May 26th I’m back there again doing the first live show in a very long time, alongside the legend that is Derek Carr. I’m really looking forward to this one. The Imaginarium is a truly brilliant little venue, recently set up by my friend Roya and her associates, with 'Plant and Deck' selling records and plants on the ground floor next to a small cafe bar and space upstairs for, yoga, open mic, acoustic, and parties upstairs. There's a real family feeling in there, and a brilliant place to hang out, with frequent in-store sessions for the shop, and intermittent broadcasts for NARR Radio. It’s only about 110 capacity so anyone wanting to come down should keep their eyes peeled and maybe check out The Imaginarum Facebook page or website:
