'Satoshi Tomiie has long been a respected figure in the electronic music scene with a career spanning three decades and material on some of the industries most respected imprints, from his debut on FFRR alongside Frankie Knuckles and his contributions to the esteemed Renaissance mix series through to his more recent output on the likes of Yoyaku’s Yoyakuza and his own Abstract Architecture. Here though we see him making a welcome return to Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory following 2017’s ‘512’ EP. 

‘65Hz’ leads and sets the tone via glitched out, modulating percussion, murky synth swells and choppy stab sequences before ‘Coincidence’ lays focus on airy dub stabs, a snaking bass groove and crunchy drums. 

Title-cut ‘Immersed’ then rounds out the release with shuffled percussion, weighty lowend tones and an amalgamation of dynamic, resonant synth lines, which wind their way in and out of the composition.'
