Dust Down Records invites Arnie Wrong, with an hour mixtape in ode to love & heartbreak. A collection of stories about unrequited love, infidelity, desperation and loss of connection. The essence of heartbreak told through a soundtrack of proto-house, boogie, funk and italo. This hour gives a small glimpse into some of Arnie Wrong's record bag essentials.

A London based DJ & music producer, she grew up in a multicultural family between Sweden & Poland, discovering at an early age that music is a universal language connecting people beyond borders.

For the 11th installment in our Just For The Night series, selectors take you on their own journey through groove. Anything goes.

Etched into the history of Italian House is one Carlo Troja, aka Don Carlos. In 1991 @IrmaRecords released his first single Alone, which almost immediately gained cult status. The soft, ambient, dream-like production defined a genre that came to be known as Paradise House. 

One of his more recent excursions that piqued our interest was a four-track EP on @razor-n-tape under artist name Montego Bay, all melodic house jams & sampled disco cuts. Don Carlos and S-Tone (Stefano Tirone @stoneinc) released two records on Bologna label Calypso in the early 90s and incredibly, the 4 tracks on this EP were produced 30 years ago, then shelved and forgotten about.

A true music obsessive, he has graciously delivered an hour of lush Mediterranean & Adriatic-soaked groovers from his extensive record collection. Benvenuti in paradiso. 🌴

Bevan's influences as a DJ first started with the deep, garage house sound from NY and Chicago. From here he built up a record collection largely consisting of modern soul, disco, boogie, house and UK garage. You can expect to hear these genres in his mixes along with newer influences he has picked up in recent months
