Julius Jail-Laquan Gathers , professionally known as Lt Da Lunitic ,was born March 31,1991 in Erie, Pa. Julius was 5 years old the first time he scratched a record one day while his dad was practicing for his next DJ gig. Picking up his father's love for music, which also gave him the influence for his music along with Biggie Smalls,2pac, Ludacris, Lil Wayne,and Big Pun. Who at 14 started to freestyling for fun which evolved into writing rhymes to rap beats at 15. Later on he joined a group called L-7 where he started to perfect his craft to freestyle. When he started writing rhymes he improved his craft to start making instrumentals, at 18. Julius went to University of Northwestern Ohio to start a career in automotive and high performance...that blew up in his face. Back to Virginia ,at 19, where he met a producer who started to show him how to make instrumentals. After his four year hiatus from music he went back to writing rhymes and making instrumentals.When he turned 24, LT Da Lunitic who now stays In Woodbridge, Va ,where he had two beautiful kids with his beautiful girlfriend. At 26 he became part of a group called Money Gang Music Group / Money Gang The Kartel. He is also the Founder/CEO of Restless Aries Music Movement with his good friend William Shaffer, which is a Production/Artist label where he produces instrumentals for himself as well as selling them to the public. He also is Writer/Freestyler/Artist for his own projects and others. Now MGMG is the first interstate group founded by Owner and CEO of MGMG,  Nitti Blanco ,who put a team together such as himself, Tommy Tracczz , 4Nickles, Biggs CEO, Lt Da Lunitic , Jay Hand and Jon Cash. Now they are on the way to the top so much talent. Putting things in motion Lt joined the right  music group.

Whether You Call Him Finesse or Blackwood, he's is a musician with a rich tapestry of life experience. His early childhood in VA then moving to Compton in the late 80's and early 90's exposed him to the rival gang cultures of the Crips and the Bloods. His mother was a singer who performed at local and national cabarets, instilling in Rio and his younger sister a drive for greatness. In 2008, the family suffered a blow when Rio's aunt he lived in California with died unexpectedly.

Rio has built a following of fans in the DMV area who love his sound and the positive vibes he radiates. He is currently working on new music and is gearing up for a busy year of performing.

Blackwood is an artist who is unafraid to speak his truth. He comes from a place of genuine honesty and understanding, using his platform to give voice to the reality of life for many people. Blackwood's rap is raw and uncut, giving listeners an authentic look at the world he comes from. With a debut mixtape set for release in 2023, Blackwood is poised to take the rap world by storm with his unique style and perspective.
