100% blown away by Mortal Kombat 2.  MK1 put the game style out there.  MK2 was like holy shit good. It was a real "2" if that makes sense. Some games have a sequal which sucks ass.  MK2 in total, from the hype leading up to it's release date, to the new characters and bad ass game play tops it for me. MK3 was good also, but not "AS" impactful as Mortal Kombat 2.

One thing about AI, because it's randomly generating stuff deep down, is that asking it to make something very specific begins to take a lot of processing time because it's like playing lottery - you have to throw the dice until every dice falls just the right way up. At some level it's easier to just make it yourself, but can you if all you've ever used was AI?

In this episode, Marko and Andy are joined by special guest and awesome Beyond Synth Patron, Brandon Decker. They kick things off with a deep dive into the realities of managing a restoration company before transitioning to the sensory delight of a chocolate factory. Andy is skeptical about  the new Mortal Kombat game and does not like the music in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They chat about "Cocaine Bear," "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," and other Marvel movies, and "Mission Impossible." And what would a synthwave chat be without discussion of pierogies and ribs? And of course there’s also lots of awesome music!
