SIJIN is a DJ, producer, and curator based in Seoul who’s pushing the boundaries of underground electronic
music. He’s also behind SYNTHASIA, a platform he created to explore how electronic music is evolving
culturally and sustainably across Asia.
His sound is all about intricate rhythms, raw textures, and immersive atmospheres. He moves fluidly between
hypnotic grooves and fractured beats, creating unpredictable soundscapes that take listeners on a visceral
journey.What makes his music distinctive is how he layers complex percussion with deep, driving elements.
Lately, SIJIN released his EP DOMAIN independently. The EP premiered on Minimal Collective and includes
remixes from Yuki Matsumura, INN, and Matthew Cha—each bringing their own interpretation to his original
work.
He’s performed at some incredible venues across Asia and beyond, including KHIDI in Tbilisi, Georgia, and
KGR’n TOKYO in Tokyo, Japan, cementing his place in the global underground scene.
Beyond his own music, SIJIN curates concept-driven events through various projects like VOLNOST,
SYNTHASIA, GWI MYEON RECORDS, and MIND NOMAD. These events go beyond typical club
experiences, incorporating multi-sensory performances, live showcases, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Through VOLNOST, he’s brought visionary artists like 404.zero, Maotik, and TUNDRA to audiences, creating
immersive audiovisual art experiences.
