Accidentally conceived in 1998 when cut and paste graphic artist and obscure vinyl obsessive ANDY VOTEL teamed up with screenprinter cum second-class songsmith DAMON GOUGH (BADLY DRAWN BOY) and converted their own 4 track compact cassettes into cut-price vinyl 45s… Twisted Nerve is now ten years old.

Consistently jarring with the status quo our thoroughly unreliable and schizophrenic release schedules fits like a fingerless glove on an octopus. Nebraska is someone who’s tracks we’ve been loving for a good few years now and finally managed to pin him down for a release here on Delusions Of Grandeur. The UK producer is something of an enigma, and despite some amazing releases on Rush Hour still remains resolutely underground and seems to keep his releases to a minimum, focusing on keeping the quality high rather than flooding the market with average material. Once again, he brings the real deal with three drum-heavy warehouse jams to nice-up the dancefloor.
Aw-right (Mute Version) sets the tone with a raw house groove that keeps things stripped to the bare minimum. A bouncing bassline and rattling percussion break help to define the track but it’s the dusty, dubby approach to the mix which really makes the track shine.
Next up we have Warp And Weft, a similar sounding track but by dropping the BPM’s Nebraska has created a sublime low-slung, bumpy groove to really move to.
Flipping over we’re treated to the brilliant Eighty Eights which will have you nodding your head like the Churchill’s dog before you can say ‘looped up piano and bass one bar groove repeated for over eight and a half minutes shouldn’t work should it?’

Icona Pop and electronic duo Louis the Child have teamed up for a new song called "Weekend." They've shared a video for the song, in which Icona Pop sing as a group of youths—shirtless, rowdy, free—enjoy the titular weekend. Watch it below. "We work hard and play hard, we are constantly jet lagged and we do things at weird times," Icona Pop said in a statement. "This song is about our beautiful chaos that we think a lot of people can relate to." Louis the Child shared a statement, too: “The idea for this song was started on a cruise ship, developed in an airport, and finished with a bunch of friends in the studio. Music is a non-stop lifestyle.”

Belgian in origin, Igor Vicente and DkA join forces to create two monster tracks for their 'Haus Boo EP' on Hot Creations. Championed by Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed it arrives hot on the heels of Hot Creations’s Paradise events series announcement for Ibiza 2016, this is music made for those heady nights on the DC10 terrace.

On the A-side is 'Haus Boo' which the guys created after being inspired by the all time classic The House Master Boyz and The Rude Boy Of House 'House Nation'. Taking the release into a much darker realm is 'Shady' with a seriously addictive beat, endless high-hats and relentless snares.

Infatuated with music from a young age, Igor Vicente founded the Belgian Wildfamily Parties in which Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Dinky and Matthew Styles among others have all played. Some years later he formed one half of Ultrasone, and has released on Get Physical, Mobilee and Hot Creations multiple times. These days you can catch him playing at one of his two residencies in Belgium, Cafe d'Anvers and Fuse, and founding the label State of Flow.

DkA has his roots firmly placed in the house music scene and has taken his sounds all over Europe, whilst releasing on Get Physical Music, Mobilee Records and Play Label Records to name just a few.
