Over the last 15 years she has gained a huge amount of respect with many of the big players in Australia, subsequently scoring performances at the prestigious Rainbow Serpent Festival 4 years in a row, as well as many other festivals such as Strawberry Fields, Elements, Babylon, Luft, Beyond the Valley, Piknic Electronik, and Circoloco. Bec has also recently played internationally at the world renown club The Block in Tel Aviv & Ozora. Not to mention a slew of the Australia's best clubs like Revolver, 161, Xe54, Circus and Brown Alley alongside Melbourne's finest promoters Novel, Thick as Thieves, Untitled Group, Stable Music, Wildwood, Hardware, Nu techno, Arteq & One More Tune. 

When it comes to passion for quality music, whether it be old or new, Bec Grenfell has it down to a fine art. Playing her own definition of a much broader spectrum of electronic music, Bec’s music is best described as a unique style of melodic ethereal undertones with heavy basslined house and techno. She loves less obvious or predictable sound landscapes as she believes the unknown is always more attractive. 

Bec's passion for music delves deeply to a neuroscience level with her avid research on music's powerful effects on the brain in neurological conditions and her rehabilitation for people with cognitive and movement disorders.

Bec is constantly pushing the boundaries with her visionary sounds, paving the way for female artists in the underground scene. She lets her music knowledge and over 15 years of experience in the scene do the talking. She really knows how to capture and excite an audience with her smoothly transitioned sets and individual groove which separates her from the numerous generic “techno” artists that are seen today. Her stage presence is second to none, bringing you a journey of euphoria and electricity, leaving you questioning what the hell you are listening to!

Founded by Soul Button in Berlin, Steyoyoke Recordings is a groundbreaking collective that embodies the essence of Ethereal Techno across its three distinct labels: Steyoyoke, Steyoyoke Black, and Inner Symphony. Each label brings a unique yet complementary sound, contributing to the rich and diverse tapestry of the Steyoyoke brand. Steyoyoke, the flagship label launched in 2012, is renowned for its innovative Ethereal Techno sound, characterized by deep, emotive melodies, and intricate production. This label has set a high standard in the electronic music scene with its commitment to blending music and art, offering listeners a deeply immersive experience.

In 2014, Steyoyoke Black was introduced, carving a niche for darker, more techno-driven sounds. This sub-label maintains the emotive and atmospheric qualities of Ethereal Techno while exploring the deeper, more mysterious facets of the genre. Inner Symphony, established in 2017, began as a podcast series before evolving into a full-fledged label. It focuses on creating profound, emotive, and uplifting music, characterized by deep and atmospheric melodies. Inner Symphony aims to offer a curated music experience that resonates deeply with the mind, body, and spirit.

Together, Steyoyoke, Steyoyoke Black, and Inner Symphony form a cohesive project dedicated to discovering and nurturing forward-thinking musicians.
