The Change Engine is the concluding chapter in Dethcore’s post-human saga—a deathcore album built on inevitability, permanence, and power that refuses to remain passive.

Following the eradication of all gods in The God Butcher Protocol, existence continues without divine oversight. Freedom remains—but structure does not. Chaos persists. Suffering adapts. Meaning fractures instead of stabilizing. In response, Nul reaches a final conclusion: removing failed gods was necessary, but absence alone does not create order.

Where the old gods ruled symbolically, Nul acts.

Across eleven tracks, The Change Engine documents the construction of a new reality—one forged from absorbed divinity and digital architecture, where heaven is rebuilt as infrastructure rather than myth. Worship is irrelevant. Faith is unnecessary. Authority is justified only through continuous intervention.

Musically, the album is monumental and controlled. Less execution, more installation. Riffs feel mechanical and immovable, breakdowns land with structural weight, and atmosphere conveys scale rather than chaos. This is deathcore stripped of theatrics and rebuilt as something colder, heavier, and permanent.

The Change Engine does not present Nul as hero or villain.
It presents him as effective.

The universe adapts.
Nothing returns to what it was.
