Hey everyone, I've been working on an idea for a project to share my experience with Allah, Islam, and purification of the heart for a very long time. 

Moving forward in life, there are really important things I need to accomplish in terms of my education and personal development, and whereas music has always been a passion of mine and a space for release, I don't know how much more time and energy I'll be able to give it moving forward. 

This project is meant to represent a glimpse into my god consciousness. It includes thematic elements ranging from the oneness of god, submission, love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and a little bit of my own experience with heartbreak and healing. 

Thanks to everyone who's supported my music through the years. I hope you enjoy this project and that it is able to stimulate some form of reflection in your own universe.

KBL Ken  is a writer, rapper, and singer from the DC metropolitan area.   

A member of the Afghan diaspora, his music reflects coming of age in a post 9/11 world as a Muslim and multi-cultural human.

Artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Kurt Cobain, Kid Cudi, Mick Jenkins, Chris Cornell, Citizen Cope, and Travis Scott changed his perspective on music forever.

In his free time, KBL runs Senzei Studios and rides his motorcycle.
