@davenyxaether lines up his latest EP on Welsh imprint @typelessrecords. Steeped in downcast atmospherics, 'W001' evokes a haunting reverberation through the use of warbling bass, ethereal soundscapes and a potent supply of jungle-inspired drum patterns.

The "almost" Breton fa:act is back with Club Toolz, a self-pro- duced 2 tracks EP which smells good the west of France: dub vibes and butter.

On Amnesia Stoner, we first seem to attend the bad trip of a joint smoker that the product has satellised in a celestial beyond where a hypnotic bass makes the planes capsize. We finally come back on the ground with Butter Cutter, in the middle of a crazy chase with policemen in exit of party, while in the distance the DJs continue to make vibrate the sound-system in a cloud of tear gas.

Two hyper energetic tracks, which beyond the literature, push to the loss of control, whether it is in the middle of a club with a bubbling concrete floor or outside, stuck in the mud up to the knees.

fa:act - Butter Cutter

After diversifying with the release of a couple of tapes over the last few years, BFDM’s little sis — Homemade Soundsystem — returns to what it knows what to do best: a two-track bass-heavy dancehall 7 inch. This one is courtesy of Parisian producer Krikor, who was already behind the outfit’s first release back in 2019. The well named Captivation Riddim starts off as a slow-but-rough compelling tune with haunting and trippy vocal samples creating an adequately driving mood. On the flip, Liberation Riddim is a percussive chopped-up party starter, ideal for changing gears with multiple BPM shifts and breaks throughout the track.

Physical Therapy returns to Allergy Season with a rollicking new single, Ride The Pony. The original mix is pure party-starting energy, filled with record scratches, cowbells and cantering 909 toms. Next, on “Fizz’s Terrace Dub”, things are stretched out into a minimal opus, starting with 6 minutes of tripped out tech before opening up into heavier sounds. Finally, the “Ride The Elephant Mix” adds even more weight, reconfiguring RTP’s playful palette into dark half-time/double-time.
