Regular Dog is a young artist who has been living his childhood with Brother JT and Schimpfluch-Gruppe playing in the background. One of his first picks from the audio mess was the trumpet of Bill Dixon. He asked which instrument it was and started to learn how to play it. After that he’s been playing fanfares out of the village church tower and scared people with short trumpet actions in caves. The trumpet changed to guitar, and he played in many kinds of bands. He sometimes got in a conflict because of his intense affection to excessive feedback use. Known best from his band Punainen Planeetta, here’s the first solo album by Regular Dog! Beautiful bedroom 4-tracker nuggets go from primitive rock to Luxurious Bags wibes, and even to some Casio disco weirdness. Although the styles vary, there’s a wonderful coherence and artistic direction in all of them.
