B From E conveys his modern take on early techno and breakbeats spiked with trance elements on “The Year 8080” for his own, resurrected Buddahood imprint. 

Deep atmospheres, sharp melodies and uplifting energy are the main ingredients of the sound of B From E, the housier moniker of the danish producer and musician Frej Levin. With room for variety, he has created a playground in favour of trancey detours inspired by US techno and early European house music. The encounter between ghetto music and the mindset of finding altered states through an endless, timeless trance is what Frej invites us into - namely his buddha "hood".

The four-track EP is the first release on MUSAR, a new experimental imprint out of Tel Aviv. As you can expected from a premium sound designer and tastemaker, Tobar's EP channels his roots from classic 80's darkwave analog sounds and the melodic, softer edges of early IDM.

'Rue Calme' is a deep and uplifting psychedelic trip that straddles the Chilean artist's forever dueling light and dark sound worlds, while title track 'La Condamine' draws on influences such as Boards of Canada, Orbital and science fiction movies, with an epic sunset-perfect melody and warm drums. The release comes with two stellar remixes by Marc Piñol and Ulrich Schnauss.

Me and my CPH DEEP peeps had the privilege of hosting the Green floor (considered the main room) at the legendary Salon Zur Wilden-Renate - I was lucky to be able to play both the opening set b2b with TMYL, and then again for the closing set - I took over the decks from Baime at 10am saturday morning with a packed floor - and I took the dedicated ravers on a journey up until closing time at noon!
