All glory to the most high one true creator, through it, all things are possible! Now, i'm a 24 year old artist/ producer from Arizona. I rep the south side of Phoenix born and raised. i started doing music when i was 18 but really didn't know how to get started so i went back to school to study. I fell in love with this craft as a child maybe five or six years old and always had a feeling that this is what I wanted to do in the future.

a.k.a Alex Malacarne gears up to tour his 3rd full length studio album titled "AM Grinding". Titled as a double entendre that pays homage to the legacy of his Great Grandfather's knife grinding business, A.M. Grinding, and his own unrelenting blue collar work ethic with his art.
In his latest release Focused embraces the spirit of his Italian immigrant roots by focusing on a theme of adversity, evident in the song 
"Challenge Accepted" where he tells the story of a harrowing near death experience from childhood. 
Paired with his signature lush, jazzy grooves Focused's live experience delivers a tranced out, laid back vibe perfectly suited for more intimate venues and coffee shops. 
Prior to the pandemic shutdown, Focused was steadily building a dedicated following by extensively touring major cities across Canada and the U.S. with his immersive live show.
Performing alongside Canadian talent Aysanabee, Saffron, Sule, Lea Keeley and Bella Cat. Focused has drawn crowds to iconic major city venues: Toronto's Lees Palace and The Horseshoe Tavern, Montreal's L'Escogriffe and Barfly to name a few.
