Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj has stressed the importance of Nitnem for Sikhs. He says that Sikhs should get up at the ambrosial hour, and recite His Name for at least 2.5 hours (10% of the day), as a tithe (dasvandh)of one's time to the Guru.

This seva is dedicated to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj, Baba Ishar Singh Ji Maharaj and Baba Ishar Singh Ji Maharaj.

In celebration of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's prakash purab (coming into the world), Bhai Baljit Singh shares the sakhi (true story) of when Guru Nanak Dev Ji as a teenager is singing out, asking for someone to sit with him and sing of that One. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was called mad and crazy; for us it's in this kind of madness of devotion that we can cut through our layers of our ego and connect to something deeper.
