Armada Music Trance Mix - February 2024

Well, it is finally here, the next ONwax episode. My first recorded mix since losing one of my closest friends last year. Nearly one year on, it doesn't get any easier but music and DJ-ing are two things that brought us together as mates way back in 2004.

 20 years later I'm still as passionate as ever even though admittedly the game has changed a lot since my early gigging days. I don't mean to sound negative but DJs used to get booked because they were good DJs rather than the social media circus and overnight artists you find today. In a day and age where you can get to the top overnight by being popular or someone else making your music, luckily there are still some of us who enjoy the hustle and art of performing and getting booked on merit :)

After doing some digging in the local record stores and online over the last few weeks for some upcoming gigs I thought this might be the perfect opportunity to share some of the gems I found with you all :)
