In dieser Ausgabe geht es um FairTix Leipzig bzw. den Clubeuro. Dies ist ein Pilotprojekt des lokalen Ticketanbieters TixForGigs, bei dem ihr Leipziger Clubs beim Vorverkauf unterstützt. Wie das geht? Teilnehmende Clubs können bei einzelnen Events einen Clubeuro erheben, zugleich sinkt aber die Servicegebühr von TixForGigs. Der Euro geht dann an das LiveKommbinat Leipzig, um damit Projekte zu finanzieren, die der Vernetzung und Weiterentwicklung der lokalen Clubkultur zugute kommen. Neben FairTix Leipzig geht es in dieser Hey Hey-Ausgabe aber auch darum, wie die Leipziger Clubs – speziell das Conne Island – mit den Herausforderungen von Corona, steigenden Produktionskosten, schleppenden Vorverkäufen und weniger Experimenten beim Booking. Leipzig's long-term resident jewelry  has been embracing all her musical personalities lately by presenting a diverse range of music styles. This time, she opted for a vinyl-only mix with a housy vibe, which she would describe as music to wiggle around to. 

"As I am not only a DJ but also working in a club, it is not only astonishing how unequal club culture is in front of the stage, but also behind it. It is definitely a hard business to establish yourself in, no matter where you are standing. We live in a patriarchy and club culture truly is and should be a safe space, but it is for sue not free from the society we live in. I appreciate every single person and event I come by, that truly makes an effort to have the best possible safe space provided for attendees. It's a hard job and I will always be moved by the work and stress people go through to break these patterns and create a time in place where you actually feel seen, heard and appreciated."
