New single coming out called “He Came Back,” from our artist Rafael Khan and his long-time friend and collaborator, Stashole, playing together as RISK.

Both Rafael and Stashole are known in the underground Toronto scene for their harsh, heavy techno sounds and live sets. Rafael Khan is an electronic music producer, DJ, and software engineer based in Toronto. He has a fascination with anything and everything related to music technology, currently driving his own endeavours as both a musician and engineer.

Stashole is a Russian-Canadian producer who's been producing various genres on and off for several years and DJing since around January 2020. Lately, he's been focused on working with dark industrial sounds, and he had a track released on Measure Divide’s Isolate Exp. project earlier in 2020.

Both Rafael and Stashole have extensive work experience with modular synthesizers, often relying on them for their releases. A side project, Okay Synthesizer, is a product born out of necessity, a new module the two of them are working on in a team.

Biblioteka Records is a Toronto-based independent record label that was established in an east end apartment in 2017 as a way to self-release a project, but evolved into a way to support instrumental, electronic music. With a focus on digital and limited edition cassette releases, we aim to put out only the best and most unique electronic music while continuing to learn and grow as an artist-run and artist-focused label.
