There is a distinct niche in the void of electronica between raging techno and the delicate flower of groove that is tech house. A gaping chasm rarely filled with the inter genre specialisation required to progress an evening. The ability to cast a fruitful sunset of dance and cocktails toward a jaw clenching, foot stomping, session pit of destruction. 

BANDO, the solo alias of up-and-coming artist Bailey Andersen, aims to fill that void in the night and redirect the fractured souls of the punter by weaving darkness into the light. BANDO’s sets and productions range from minimal and progressive to bassline heavy Brazilian and Bush influenced techno.

BANDO’s productions and sets have been gaining significant traction in the Australian underground scene in recent years and he’s now divulging into the diverse cosmos that is international electronic music. An artist to many labels, a host to many notorious parties and a performer to numerous, infamous events.

Dark Mode's other-worldly appearance has a profound effect on humans. Looking into the eyes of a masked creature from another realm is not like looking at a regular DJ or performer. It is not a human being, its reflective eyes act like a magical mirror - the energy people share with Dark Mode seems to be amplified and bounced back at the crowd, resonating through their unified souls, connected by the music and movement of dance.
Dark Mode is rapidly building a reputation for delivering high impact techno sets within the Australian club and festival scene, making appearances at Elements, Dirty Feet Festival (NSW), Elements and Eden’s Psyden, EXENT, Frisson Records Party’s and Spring Campout.

This is my recording from My Aeon - 'Lunar's Eclipse' party. I played upstairs  1:30am-3:00am Going through multiple areas from Tribal and progressive Techno, into some bush tech and proper techno and finishing with some proggy melodic trancier tracks. Was such a fun set to play and thanks @lunarmusicofficial for the booking! I hope you enjoy.

A DJ of many genres from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne but has found inspiration in his music from the Australian bush. Slowly emerging into the competitive underground scene of Melbourne, Acaena has been turning heads with his tasteful selection of music and experimentation throughout a set.

Also known for his Co-Founding of ‘Proxima Frequencies’. A fresh collective in the scene constructed to not favor any direct style but to give people the opportunity to express themselves through music,art and dance.
