Year of October is a fuzzed out rock band from Nashville, TN. They travel the U.S. in a minivan to bring their dirty riffs and dark grooves to people everywhere. Made up of Phlecia Sullivan (vocals), Josh Sullivan (guitar), and James Varner (drums) their original music has been described as a Black Sabbath sound with Amy Winehouse in the lead. They have become a staple in the Nashville rock scene by putting on a powerful show that pulls people in with their dynamic and energetic performance. Their sixth studio album entitled, I’ve Given You Everything, is deeply personal and encapsulates their years on the road, dealing with the ever changing world without becoming hardened to it, and still has the storytelling and fantasy that is true to the Year of October sound. Gideon's Rifle is an Americana/Folk band created in Louisville, KY in 2012.



Kentucky born group in 2012, with a new LP on its way, a talented mix of several genres, tactfully placed to reveal a true universal vein in all working generations. String music mixed with an electric texture brings new light to the modern and traditional music lover's ear.

Hard Working Americans is a mission as much as a band. Loose-limbed, freak flag waving specters caper inside this freshly minted but quicksilver evolving unit where the boogie politics of Haight-Ashbury canoodle with southern muscle, blue-collar understanding, and a bold rallying cry for true American individualism, freedom and community.

"The description of church I got as a kid – a joyous celebration of life and gratitude - was nothing like the reality of it, and I feel like this band is a spiritual outlet that lives up to the description," says lead singer, professional scallywag and People's Preacher Todd Snider. "I feel like I'm the small part of a bigger thing. I think the deepest thing music does is make people dance and Hard Working Americans is here to make folks move."

Formed in late 2013, HWA comprises Snider, bassist Dave Schools (Widespread Panic), guitarist Neal Casal (Chris Robinson Brotherhood), keyboardist Chad Staehly (Great American Taxi), drummer Duane Trucks and guitarist Jesse Aycock. 

The clear flow and friendship in Hard Working Americans is easy to see, and the gravity of what they're doing develops a stronger, more irresistible pull the longer they serve this mission.

"When music becomes almost religious it doesn't need to be a show. It can be a real experience, where the gathering before and hang afterwards all matter to the whole thing, " says Snider. "I think it's the highest calling I can put my ability to rhyme orange with door hinge to. I feel like I've been preparing my whole life to rhyme words for Dave Schools."

Established in 2013, Big Atomic was founded upon a series of covalent bonds - both internally and externally. The magnetic force that pulled the band together was their shared love for music and community. Think of the players like atoms - sharing experiences with each other - while also harmoniously oscillating around a central purpose (the nucleus). Every step along the way, the band is conscientious of the particles that surround them, their contribution to society, and their core mission of building a better world. Their presence is big. Not necessarily in a commercial sense, but more so in an impactful way. Their interactions are intentional, inclusive, and with big hearts.   

Rising out of West Kentucky, Big Atomic synthesizes elements of funk, rock, jazz, ska, soul, big-band horns, and even bluegrass. Band members have included teachers, counselors, engineers, music therapists, environmentalists, bartenders, activists, and of course - artists: writers, poets, and musicians. They have shared stages with national artists such as Papadosio, Femi Kuti, Toubab Krewe, Ripe, Aaron Kamm and The One Drops, The Seratones, Mungion, Earphorik, The Werks, The Fritz, Marbin, Southern Avenue, Jeff Austin Band, Mojo Flo, Rumpke Mt. Boys and more while also staying heavily involved in the regional music festival circuit. Now based in Louisville, KY, the current lineup is Shannon Vetter (vocals, guitar, saxophone), Ben Vogepohl (drums), Connor Powell (Bass), Michael Vettraino (guitar/ vocals) and Brandon Bell (saxophone). 

Currently, Big Atomic are applying their momentum to progress the human condition. They are preparing for their forthcoming EP album release Body Politic, set to drop on June 25th, 2021. Influenced by numerous participations in non-violent protests, Body Politic faces the harsh truths of a city and world shaped by injustice, struggle, and a global pandemic.
