Sounds of Isha is Sadhguru's own home grown, anomalous group of 'musicians' - inspired by their deep yearning and sense of gratitude. Dabbling with and melting into their instruments, their work is a subtle fusion of the rich and diverse beings that they are. The group members are full-time volunteers with Isha Foundation, living a life of dedication and austerity; thus, their inspirational songs are usually created after a full day's activity, due to their passion and zest to share a different dimension of the foundation's work.

Their melodies are a fusion of music from different parts of the world - traversing effortlessly and seamlessly across boundaries and cultures. Whilst the music of these songs sooth our minds and the melodies enthrall us, the true potential of the songs is in their capability to instill in us an element of the eternal silence that touches the core of the human being. What is Richie Rich’s Histology?
Richie Rich began his hip hop career in the late 1980s. A self-proclaimed former D-Boy, Richard Serrell, professionally known as “Richie Rich”, began recording music as a means to momentarily escape the street life mentality of Oakland, CA. Feeling at home in the studio, Rich quickly began to understand that being an artist required more dedication than his “street schedule” would allow. And thus the Oakland based hip hop group, 415, was spawned with Rich at the helm. Soon after, Richie Rich was introduced to the artist who became one of the world’s most beloved hip hop artist, and one of his closest friends, Tupac Shukar. Eventually, Rich returned to the streets of Oakland as more than an artist. He had become a commodity that major record companies began fighting over. Richie Rich was courted by Priority Records and Universal Records, but landed on the doorstep and found a temporary home at Russell Simmons’ worldly acclaimed record label, Def Jam Records.

Throughout the years, Richie Rich, like millions of others, has not forgotten the late and great Tupac, and has chosen to honor his friend on one of his newest singles, “Oakland”. “Oakland” pays homage to Tupac, by including previously unreleased commentary by the hip hop giant masterfully built into the hook. This single is dedicated to one of the world’s greatest artists, in true Oakland fashion….
