Daametrius(Gio Mage) is a gift from GOD.  He supports and loves everyones music.  DAAMETRIUS was sent to make music that will raise your vibrations and vibrate a natural process of thought.  The mission is to clean the earth and teach humans how to respect their neighbors.  In me resides an avatar which is a very very ancient old soul.  My music will teach you how to appreciate beauty, to walk with empathy, to love to think before you act and to be confident in expressing yourself anyway. Mauricio Plein A.K.A. Mauro Monterio was born in Paramaribo, Suriname and raised in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
At a young age he was listening to his father’s records; music of James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix and Buena Vista Social Club to mention a few names.
He was influenced by Soul, Funk, (Latin) Jazz, Cuba Son, Kaseko (music from Suriname), Hip Hop, Hip House, Jungle & (US, UK & Speed) Garage music and started to produce in 2001.
He produces (Latin, Tribal, Afro, Deep, Garage & Tech) House music with Passion & Pleasure.
The groove, swing, percussion, bass drum, bassline, sub-bass and of course the rhythm is very important to him.
But his preference goes out to raw, bumpy, heavy, bass driven House music.
