Live Set @ Waha Festival 2018

Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "color the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga).

This set is truly special since there is no tracklist to it, this has been originally composed by @miqou thankyou sooo much bro for sharing this absolute beaut with us.

In 2014 he started discovering what has been waiting for him for so long. It is like judging any amateurish result becomes meaningless as the act of producing music itself is the most fulfilling one already. Throughout music he expresses emotion and culture in the most creative way he can imagine. He did realise when he got older and tried photography, that music is his biggest artistic passion.

This mixtape is perfect to chill down and fade away for a moment in time.

While being hooked up to several music genres, he enjoys experimenting in the electronic field the most. Atmospheric soundscapes do feel like the niche that he could fit in. In another project many recordings were collected with a near field recorder during a journey trough morocco. He choose parts of these and assembled them to raised the whole soundscape with self made melodies and atmospheric details - which in the end, created an unique sound experience. KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN is the project of Itay Berger. Itay is 40 years old, located in Barcelona, Spain. He has been listening and playing electronic music since he was 16 years old. He spent over 3 years working as a sound engineer in one of the top sound and light companies in Israel. His decision to make music was strongly influenced by his trip to Ibiza in 1997-8. At that time he also started to preform in Israel and abroad at mostly underground parties. Itay’s general musical influences are wide-ranging. His journey into chill-out djing started in 2002 in Israel. During that time he was also signed by a UK techno-house label (www.klubdj.co.uk) under the name DJ Itay for a year and flew to Japan to play at parties in Osaka and Kyoto. Returning back to Israel, he enrolled to sound engineering college for one year and totally committed
himself to music composition. Drawing from his djing experience, his early family musical influences as well as his own musical background he created his chill-out project: KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN.

We all dreamt or wished to explore imaginary & far away grounds, between no man’s lands and intangible panoramas. Border 50 is a hymn to this laid-off concept, when frontiers and delineations dissipate to a wilder breadth, where, as Baudelaire would say, "Everything is beauty, luxury, calm and intense pleasure ».

Swiss-born artist Moreno Antognini aka Master Margherita treats us to a mystical and meditative album driven by low-end quiet pulses, swaddling guitar basslines, dense granular pads, giving a powerful homage to a certain definition of Doom Jazz, Stoner Rock and Nordic Ambient with influences from Pink Floyd, Miles Davis, Bill Laswell or Biosphere’s works.

Carefully crafted over the course of two years, this « Border 50 » album stands apart, a return to the source for the artist, hallmark of Master Margherita’s irrefutable multi-instrumentist and storyteller talent.

During the Wanderlust Festival in Oahu 2019, Amani was invited to play for 3 relaxing yoga classes taught by Amanda Giacomini. These 3 sets are each different as they were following the flow of the class in the moment and the stories that Amanda weaves into her classes. The sets feature a blend of music from the Liquid Bloom and Desert Dwellers catalog, as well as a few gems from Shamans Dream, Dead Can Dance, Ishq, Shantala, and a few other yoga inspired artists.

Amanda is a dedicated Yogini with over 20 years of practice and fifteen years of teaching. She teaches weekly classes other studio which she co-founded in 2001 with MC YOGI, Point Reyes Yoga in Point Reyes, California (www.10000buddhas.com)
