A collaboration between Intu Music label owner Gustin and the Dutch duo Around Us has resulted in the incredible title track 'Hang Tight'. It has already garnered tremendous support from renowned artists such as Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, who showcased it during numerous events throughout the European summer season to rapturous crowd approval. 

Most notably, their back-to-back sets at Loveland Festival and The Soundgarden Ibiza both featured it. Furthermore, the dynamic combination of Hernan Cattaneo and Soundexile has taken 'Hang Tight' to new heights with their remarkable remix. This peak-time roller is bound to ignite dance floors with its mesmerising groove, leaving everyone in a state of pure euphoria.

 And as if that wasn't enough, the package is completed with the enchanting production of 'Heavenly Voices'. This euphoric gem is driven by a captivating melody accompanied by ethereal vocal stabs and soaring arpeggios, taking you on a transcendent musical journey.

Musique de Lune closes out a successful second year by welcoming Rod Notario to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, Rod Notario first emerged in 2020 with a contribution to 3rd Avenue's 'We Are The Future' series. Immediately noted for his nostalgic progressive sound, the Buenos Aires resident would go on to record an EP for Antrim's Strangers Beats, a release which would firmly establish Rod as a new artist to watch as 2021 began. Further success came across the next two calendar years, with an EP for long-standing Serbian imprint Balkan Connection being the highlight. Now, embarking on the most anticipated release of his young career, Rod adds Musique de Lune to his resume with a two-track showcase entitled 'Unknown'.

PREMIERE: Rod Notario - All About (Original Mix) [Musique De Lune]

A returning artist to the Particles fold, Dave Leck opens 2024 with a brand-new track as "Opal" shines alongside remixes from Erdi Irmak and Izzet. Debuting on the label in August 2019, "Stardust" was the first of three original EPs that saw Dave Leck hit the ground running. "Primal Connection" followed in early 2020 before "Elevate" completed a trio of outstanding original releases in March 2022. Another two-year gap now sees "Opal" create a mesmerising percussive groove while trademark melodic phrasing sits elegantly above. Immaculately cadenced, open filters provide dancefloor vibrancy that waxes and wanes with subtle intensity. Pausing for breath at the mid-point, the track picks up the pace with a hypnotic arpeggio lighting up the second half atop elements built in earlier movements.

Erdi Irmak is no stranger to Proton catalogues with a raft of original and remix production work on both labels. Over 75 production credits include 7 volumes of the "Hidden Arcadia" series on Proton Music and a raft of original work en route. The full-length album, "You're Either Guilty or Not Guilty" was a Particles highlight in 2014 followed by 2017's "Zero" and remixes for Aeron Aether, Mio & His Flute and Stories Of Others. Now returning to the label for the first time in nearly three years, Erdi Irmak takes "Opal" in a typically majestic direction. Anchored by a heavy beat and vibrant bassline, the cadenced feel of the original is reinterpreted to create a deliciously smooth new groove that intelligently reworks elements from Dave Leck's track. Full of dancefloor energy, spellbinding melodic phrases coruscate over each other in shimmering, interlaced patterns to create an impressive tour de force from the Istanbul-based star.

The final track sees the return of Particles favourite, Izzet. Centred around 2019's "Summer Goodbye", 2021's "Abstract Distortion" and March 2022's "Puncher" EPs, remixes for the likes of Rafa'EL, Pole Folder and Petar Dundov have shown the multiple facets of the Russian's artistry as he now adds to his catalogue with a driving reworking of "Opal". Founded upon a cone-melting sub-bassline, a heavy kick and ticking hi-hats create a heavy-duty groove. Simultaneously, elements from Dave Leck's original are re-envisioned to provide an innovative melodic arrangement. The familiar arpeggio, central to the original makes its presence felt as the track develops, with a delicate tension played out as the melodic and bass phrases pull subtly against each other.

Refracted in multi-coloured arrays with remixes from Erdi Irmak and Izzet, Dave Leck has unearthed another jewel with his "Opal".

Clubsonica Records opens the new year by welcoming Antrim back to the label for a new EP. Antrim's creative partnership with Clubsonica dates back almost a decade, with his label debut being a 2015 remix of Kamilo Sanclemente's ‘The Art of Voice', a release which would lead to two well-received singles ‘Catwalk' and ‘Hoffnung', the latter of which being a Beatport Organic House number one release. Now, a as perennial favourite of Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, Antrim makes a welcome return to Clubsonica with 'La Fin Du Monde | Meeting Point', alongside remixes from Dabeat & Juan Pablo Torrez and D-Nox. 

Antrim continues to find a perfect balance between trendsetting sounds and timeless musicality with the lead selection 'La Fin Du Monde'. A DJ friendly intro sets a lively mood with rolling grooves, shuffling rhythms and a clever coax of clattering percussion. Building energy with each successive pass, its vibrant effects and aquatic arps add colour to what is a mature club-effective arrangement, perfectly leading to a series of emotive chord changes and a tranquil break, one which furthers its dancefloor appeal as an uplifting final ensues. The companion piece 'Meeting Point' showcases Antrim's studio repertoire further with a smooth and equally engaging journey. Clocking in at over eight minutes in length, the Cordoba resident's creative prowess shines once again, as he crafts a lively club cut that is rich with rhythm, groove and atmosphere. Thunderous bass swells, hopeful pads and a capsizing swing create a perfect balance of energy and emotion, before giving way to a haunting break and groove-centric drop that's sure to leave a lasting memory on the dancefloor.

The lone interpretation of ‘La Fin Du Monde' is provided by occasional studio partners Dabeat & Juan Pablo Torrez. Sitting as one of Colombia's premiere progressive house talents, David Barragan aka Dabeat has enjoyed a steady rise since first emerging in 2008 with a release courtesy of Beatfreak Recordings. Now laying claim to an impressive discography, the Santiago de Cali resident has showcased his music via Anjunadeep, Mango Alley, Plattenbank, Proton, Replug and Sudbeat, while continuing to receive play and support from the genre's premiere tastemakers. Meanwhile, Colombian artist and Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez has also compiled an impressive resume since first emerging in 2007. Mango Alley, Plattenbank, The Soundgarden, UV and more have served as landing spots for his progressive creations, while world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been steadfast supporters along the way. Also highly regarded as a DJ, Juan remains one of Colombia's premiere talents, sharing the stage with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, Matador, and more. Focusing on a lighter monochrome, the Colombian duo takes greater aim at the dancefloor for what results in a poignant journey. Rebounding rhythms and deep chugging basslines set the course for snatches of flickering percussion, shapeshifting effects and vibrant arpeggiated sequences. Looking to bring a profound emotional response, it's a series of stirring chord changes which carry through a spirited break, before a rush of drums and effects cues a heartfelt finale which an astute dancefloor will certainly appreciate.

The release concludes with D-Nox with the lone interpretation of ‘Meeting Point'. Whether operating in solo capacity or as one half of D-Nox & Beckers, the German artist lays claim to an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Bedrock, Einmusika, Monaberry, Sudbeat and his own Sprout imprint. Beginning with tough kick drums and chugging grooves, D-Nox dubs down the textural vibe of the original into something tougher and more energetic. Its rolling rhythms and detailed approach are sure to be a delight for progressive house aficionados, while anthemic chord stabs and rejuvenating pads create a gorgeous canopy of sound which seals its dancefloor appeal.
