Cleveland 'Saint Nick' Keys...
A young passionate artist/songwriter who is new to the game but not new to how it is played. It all started for him in front of his granny's television, on the south-side of Chicago, watching all these people do things he never thought he could be doing as he grew older. A fan of the art he was tho. Moved to Hammond, Indiana with his mother at the age of 5 and never pursued music, something that was not real in his realm, until college. A friend from high school came with him to Vincennes University, where they were roommates. His roommate quickly got involved with the music scene that the school had going on. So of course him being a fan of the art he immersed himself in it also. His roommate eventually picked up a little buzz showing Cleveland how real it was to start from nothing and create something people would love. Even if it was for only a moment. After leaving college 2 semesters in, he started his life in the working world. He moved to Chicago, where it all began, to pursue barbering like his father. This would become the first stepping stone that would lead him to, Saint Nick, the artist he is today. While in barber school he met Jamal 'PicasoSwag' Beamon one of the best upcoming artist he had ever heard. He and PicasoSwag became good friends then decided to work together to take PicasoSwag's music to the next level. Not knowing that Cleveland had been working his craft behind the scene PicasoSwag heard some of his work and was impressed. That was all Cleveland needed to hear from that day forth making music would become his next journey in his life. The more he put his music out there for people to hear it the more support he would get for his music. Now it is at the point where he feels obligated to do music because what it means to LIFE... SAINT!!!!!

The most important aspect of Picaso Swag’s music is the fact that it mixes the best of the best styles out there in the hip-hop scene. He searches for the borders of hip-hop - and sometimes crosses them. Picaso Swag’s background is the street - and it shows. Picaso Swag’ music is more than just hip-hop. The performers music breathes lifestyle: it is his way of expressing the opposing practices of living in a mundane reality. He deals with that by making his music as elusive as possible, while still keeping it tasteful. You almost feel the fun and mindset that Picaso Swag must have felt while whipping up his beats and rhymes. That makes that his music does not just have a good vibe - but also is as raw as life itself. And with a lot of people just struggling with life, society and mundane reality itself - this is exactly the music that could add value to the hip-hop scene.
