Born and breed from the streets of Rockford, IL about 90 miles from Chicago Maserati….



With the love and passion for the rap game Maserati is more than ready to follow the footsteps of those who’ve paved a way for young rap artist today, inspired by all genres of music Maserati began writing his feelings down at an early age, With both of his mom and dad battling crack and heroine addictions he had plenty to write about, living a childhood plagued with violence and drug addition, almost every friend and relative he had was either dead or in jail by the time he reached 9th grade. Something had to change. 


Maserati started taking his ability to rap a little more serious doing local talent shows and performing at some payed events, but still didn’t feel he had gained the respect he thought that he deserved.  For Years Maserati would do local shows trying make a name for himself.  By this time his parents had both been delivered from drugs and highly involved in church, trying to keep a tight hand on him 1 of 4 boys out of the streets.   Most of his friends were selling drugs robbing and all other types of criminal activity and at young ages were in possession of thousands of dollars at any given time, the made it easy for Maserati to touch almost anything and needed or wanted to, but Maserati had bigger dreams, he tried selling drugs and hitting licks and much more and by the grace of God was never arrested God had a plan for him.


His friends had even noticed his awesome talent of putting words together, and the unique way he so called swagged it out and knew it was a given gift, telling him numerous times "bro get out the streets."  One friend even took it upon himself to make sure Maserati stayed out the streets taking his street money and investing it in his talent.


Maserati picked up and moved to Atlanta, Ga in the winter of 2011 and began to create a plan to mold himself into a star, watching the way these people worked out there in so called black Hollywood and doing the complete opposite which gained him some attention but not the attention he wanted.  The race was on. In December 24th 2013 Maserati released independent mixtape entitled “John Doe” ten hard-hitting bangers with the unique way he rode the beats touching on his parents being on drugs his brother beating a murder charge and the ups and downs he’d been threw in the rap game.  

People are gravitating to it naturally, hoping to gain major recognition he is currently pushing this independent project linking up with dj’s club promoters and strengthening his social network presence in hopes to shake up the right ears. Preparing to drop “John Doe 2” in spring of 2014 be on the look out for Maserati in the near future he will defiantly make his presence known in the rap industry in 2014.
