     We are currently looking for a bassist and vocalist. We are currently in the writing phase for our next EP. Going through logic pro to get some solid ideas down so we have something to go into the jam space with. If you are interesting please feel free to hit me up. 

Formed in 2009 San Antonio, Texas (Then - The Scourging)
     Purifier consisted of members Shane and Steve, who banded together to deliver a rage driven machine for the masses. A mental and spiritual outlet for all of life's inconsistencies and disappointments, and for the masses to identify and rally behind. This wasn't about being the greatest technical band in the world, far from it. This was about writing great music, brotherhood, medicine/healing, this was about having a voice because the world doesn't tolerate people with a voice. As a youth it was easy to understand and things clicked well. Unfortunately we fell on bad times and real life kicked in for the worse...the poor planning for life ultimately put us in a deep hibernation.

     Fortunately fate hadn't dealt us all of it's cards, and for now it seems we have been given a second chance to deliver our message, as well as receive our "medicine" to cope with the 4 years of physical growth and mental devastation. We are overdosing on this second chance. Luckily wisdom and practice came with the break, and time didn't temper the fire burning within us. If anything all this time did was give us the tools we needed to make sure we come back stronger than ever.  
     We're upset at the world, and what it offers right now. We want all of Virginia, and soon, all of the people in the world who feel the same way to know they aren't alone, and we are with them when we say there is hope despite how far humanity has fallen. We're here to show that it's ok to be pissed off. Being pissed off causes an action, and action causes change. We are ready to be martyrs for this cause, our music will be the guide- Join us





Bio

Working as a DJ since 1983 in Manchester, England. Post-Punk, Pre-Nirvana, Post-Disco, Pre-House, Little Martin has ridden many waves and trends and created a few. Credited by ID Magazine (UK) as one of only three DJs in the UK regularly playing House in early 1987, Little Martin was a pioneer in the UK scene that still influences Dance Music the world over. Resident at the world renowned Hacienda nightclub from 1985-1988, the Friday Night "Nude Night" in partnership with DJ Mike Pickering was the epicenter of the Acid House explosion and the birthplace of the world-wide youth phenomenon “Rave”. This weekly event influenced scores of musicians, DJs and producers, including the Pet Shop Boys, New Order & Sasha to name a few. After relocating to the U.S., Little Martin continued on with several successful residences in Vermont before settling in Houston.  Specializing in House & Dance music, his diverse programming will often combine many different genres.  With 30 years experience and a massive musical knowledge he instinctively knows how to work and entertain a crowd.  You will likely hear more than the same beat all night long with DJ Little Martin!

Little Martin currently is one of the busiest DJs in Houston with several successful and longstanding residencies.

• Co-founder and musical director of the monthly party "Rent. Recipient of the Houston Press award for "Best Recurring Club Night" in 2004 and the same publication's Reader's Choice Award for "Best Party 2006"
• Along with DJ Surain, held sway over the legendary Houston Sunday party at Berryhill Montrose from 2003-2009 
• Helped create the ground breaking outdoor party "We ♥ Sundays on The Terrace"
• Created the monthly all-female DJ event "Les Femmes de la Nuit"
