Wack-Producer und Beat-Zinker gehen bitte in Deckung. Am 21.3. erscheint das erste Album von Carpet Patrol, der neuen Band von Suff Daddy und Torky Tork. Carpet Patrol ist das Vercrackteste, was man bis jetzt von den beiden Berlinern gehört hat. Suff Daddys Trademark-Grooves und Bassline-Melodien treffen auf die sicke Soundlibary von Torky Tork, unserem Mann für den triple-weirden Shit. Eigentlich wollten die beiden nur gepflegt abhängen, GTA 5 zocken und vaporisieren. Zufällig enstand dabei auch der eine oder andere Beat. Erste Protoypen wurden bei der Betty Ford Boys Tour und Beat Geeks getestet und lösten regelmässig Massenpanik aus. So wurde aus Spass Arbeit und schlussendlich ein Album, das vorsichtig formuliert „anders“ klingt.

Carpet Patrol is a bizzare ride into the world of Berlin producers Suff Daddy and Torky Tork. Their self-titled album doesn't sound like anything you have heard from these guys before. Suff Daddy provides the grooves and bassline melodies, Torky is coming with the sick samples and a great ear for arrangements. Their music is tall, dark and grimey, a nightmare on beat street, made for the mature and strong-minded listener.

Bluestaeb is one of the key figures of the new generation of up and coming beat producers from Berlin/Germany. Equally influenced by Dilla and Ta-ku they won't let them label you as "future" or "boom bap", the actually maneuver in between those sounds effortlessly. "Rodalqulilar" will be Bluestaeb's debut of Jakarta and will take you on a journey to the spanish town of Rodalquilar where Bluestaeb spent quite some of his childhood in his parents house. DJ Shadow, widely acknowledged as a crucial figure in the development of experimental, instrumental hip-hop, will return with ‘The Mountain Will Fall’ worldwide on June 24 via Mass Appeal Records [and Believe Digital in France], his first full length release since 2011.  The 12-track album finds DJ Shadow exploring new realms in addition to the deep samples and kinetic soundscapes that helped to launch his career 20 years ago.  On ‘The Mountain Will Fall’ he’s shifted further toward original composition, a vast experimentation of beats and textures, synthesizers and live instruments including horns and woodwinds.
