Cat Chinn is a break through singer songwriter from Birmingham UK.  This exciting young artist boasts musical influence from the likes of Kate Bush, The Smiths, Joni Mitchell, Athlete and other such musical minds, her sound can only be described as  progressive, ambitious and undoubtedly unique!
Writing songs driven by unrequited love, this songstress can touch the hearts and minds of a wide audience, through an arsenal of meaningful, melodic sounds.  Always pushing her writing boundaries, she appears as daring as most established artists, tapping into a raunchier side to her persona which is without question displayed through her passionate performances.
After performing predominantly acoustically from a young age, 2012 saw a new side to her creativity with the uses of electric guitar giving her songs a deeper grittier feel.  It has also found her collaborating with, what she describes to be, some of the most musically talented individuals she has known, providing her each with their unique layers of sound and thus creating her band.
Producing the new EP "Interstellar”, in December 2012, has provided an opportunity for Cat to release her sound via 4 carefully chosen individual tracks satisfying the demand of her rapidly growing fan base.  This in-turn providing her with the time to lay down important works on her forthcoming debut album which is being recorded at the moment.
With a sell-out headline performance at the renowned o2 academy in Birmingham and other venues worthy of major sell out artists to date, 2012 laid the foundations for an even more exciting year to follow.   2013 already in full flow it appears this year keeps getting better and better for this young artist, after already being invited to perform live on various radio shows, a tour is now being planned for early spring 2014, providing a stable platform for that anticipated first album release.  Excitingly, this is to be followed by a headlining concert to launch the songstress’ debut album.  Coupled with a huge showcase of summer festivals, undoubtedly this stunning debut masterpiece will get all the publicity it deserves.
