Taking a break from running lights on literal Big F'ing Robots at the Vivid projection and lighting festival in Sydney (look up "Robot Spaceland" if you're curious), Andrw flew back to Melbourne and teamed up once again with Jaimee for this sold-out show at Rubix Nightclub.

They say Robots and Sea creatures shouldn't mix, but the results can be electrifying!

This Robot and Jellyfish bring you the sleaziest and cheesiest tunes they can find from the depths of the ocean to the far reaches of space. Modern bangers and remixes of old tunes that haven't died. The dark lords of The Abyss theme camp, descended on 24 Moons Nightclub for the annual Melburners party, to trade bangers with other camp champions.

First proper set with Bread / Light Chaser after collaborating on various event crews and projects for years, (The Brink, Abyss, Sehnsucht and more) Love the chonky cyberpunk and epic synth wave vibes he brought to the table!

This set was a mission to get to but was my favourite set in the past year.

We had to leave Pitch festival, where we were programming and operating lights on all 3 stages, drive across rural Victoria to Eso for one night only... and wow what a night!

Was a few days after the tragic passing of Keith Flint who we'd recently seen perform in Australia, so we ended things with a Prodigy tribute (a remix and an original). Their music was a big influence on both of us and many of our friends and it's sad to hear his story has come to an end.

After some crowd chanting "one more song" (I wish I had a microphone recording of this!) and a nod from the crew, we started things back up and played some early originals for an encore.

Where we closed the Snake Pit stage on the Friday night.

The crowd response was amazing!

Special thanks to all the snake pit crew, our bad idea factory crew on lights, VJ's (A Comic Book Villain and Cymascopic), all the DJ's and performers and Sub Temple Sound for running such a sick stage.

This was the last festival set we did before the Quarantine lockdown (and was a great one!)

Lotsa double drops and fast mixes (about 40 tracks in an hour) featuring our favourite bangers atm.
