I know I said it was a trilogy. But its really a quartet. All of this was recorded in 2020 before lockdown. Most of the songs were written and recorded 3 at a time over a few weeks. Some of the songs are frakensteined from new and old writtens, half wrote on the spot and half from an old notebook or a hook from here or there. I really focused on not spending a lot of time overthinking and just writing and recording and moving on (which is addressed almost right away). This whole project is super reflective of my first EP NO FUTURE. Many similar themes coincidentally, a similar approach, and I produced every instrumental on here too. Really a throwback in so many ways. Just having fun, at the end of the day, I couldve not done any of it. So Im always glad I did.
