 Borey is a talented MC out of New Jersey. Born Corey Calcador in Beth Israel Hospital on August 25, 1986. Growing up in and around the Irvington/Newark area, Borey was raised by both of his parents and went to Irvington High School. Borey finds inspiration from a variety of artists, ranging from local hero Redman, to Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Fabolous, and Young Jeezy.
 
Above all of these inspirations though, Borey found the most from his family, calling his cousin Jorge ‘one of the best rappers I’ve ever seen.’ The motivation from his family has helped him push through the struggles of the streets, where drugs and violence have long been distractions. He mentions his brothers Nito and Joey, as well as his girlfriend Tay as long time inspiration and motivators... “They push me, motivate me to go hard and focus on my craft.”
 
Although he is considered new on the scene, Borey already has some notable accomplishments, collaborating with T-Money from BME, Drop Top Entertainment, and working with various members of Yacht Club Music Group. He was featured on the mixtape ‘Cut the Check’ hosted by Lady L. Be on the lookout for his upcoming mixtape ‘Glass Mirror: Reflection of Life’.  New visuals are in the near future as well, as Borey has a video dropping for his single ‘Low Pro’ featuring Brook Acosta of Yacht Club Music Group.
