Originally from London, with an alias drawn from the Bohemian borderlands of the Sudetenland, Teplice sang Brechtian drones at the Unicorn Theatre before producing the flagship 'Blueprint' radio show with esteemed junglist Ray Keith. Since arriving in Berlin in 2017, Teplice has combined these incongruous exploits to hone a distinctive sound of electronic, experimental-pop, characterised by intricate vocal sampling, loops and harmonies; the flavour of which was first captured in her debut EP. 

Released on E.M.M.A's Pastel Prism in October 2019, Bright Future was played on BBC Radio 6 Music, Worldwide FM and NTS Radio, as well as featuring in Mixmag, The Guardian, Dazed, and H&M's October playlist. In January 2022 and April 2023, she celebrated both her second and third releases on the Berlin-based label, Hot Concept, founded by John Loveless. To date, Feel Your Way and Call it Home have been showcased by Ransom Note, Stamp the Wax, Refuge Worldwide, Cashmere Radio, Melodic Distraction, and Tom Ravenscroft's New Music Fix.

Teplice's experimentation with the female voice and subjectivity is derived from a professional background in drama and an interdisciplinary focus in cultural, literary and sound studies. She is currently a phd researcher at the Freie Universität Berlin, examining the representation of oppositional subjectivities in experimental (radio and podcasting) soundworks.

 Northern Working class muso (with a sense of humour )
I have a wide tastes in music, and have a v decent collection of mid 70's heavy funk. I like the sound of speakers at full stretch,like when you hear the fire doors rattling outside a club, the tone of distortion appeals to me.
I have always liked extreme original music, be that extremely beautiful or extremely dark..Drexciyas On The Edge , is a good example.
Some of the trax here are on vinyl, others are demos to share with likeminds.I like to put examples of audio  I am playing around with. for hopefully the ears of other musicians .
 I am very interested in musical history and the contexts music is made in.(musicology) 
I have taught music technology and radio production. I recently managed to pull off  this interview with a musical hero of mine and one of the artists from Factory records Wim Mertens.

I am into Dadaist art and the political and human side to it, specially George Grosz and Otto Dix.
I make a lot of hard acid music and varied  electronic music and I enjoy the absurdity of the genre today as much as I did in 88.
Keep music fucked up  is a slogan I adhere to.
