Big Mojo -  As I feel myself (album version - 5.05)

Born in Bologna on 1967, Cesare Ferioli aka Big Mojo, he made his debut appearance in 1981 playing drums with the then very young bolognese punk band Uxidi D.C., then he plays with the new wave/post punk band Tribal Noise during the first half of the eighties, and the rock'n'roll band Jack Daniel's Lovers during the late 80's. 
This led up to the album "Stay Out Of Jail" by J.D.L. (1988 - Lakota Records / Ricordi Italy), produced by Los Lobo's Steve Berlin, which took them on an extensive tour to perform on stages all over the country.

From 1990 to 1996 he drummed with the rock/blues band Dirty Hands, issuing three records with them ("Dirty Hands" - 1992 S.D.R.Rec.; "XXX Hot Chilli" - 1993 Boots Rec.; "Four Cool Cats" - 1995 Boots Rec.) and playing on the European blues circuit and the southern and western American ones (New Orleans, Austin, San Antonio, Tuscon, Flagstaff, Los Angeles etc...). 
He has worked with many artists both in Italy and overseas (Andy J Forest Italian / American tour '92; Paul Orta and the King Pins American tour '93) with genres that range from surf music (X-Raymen '95/'97) to garage/punk (Sciacalli '98) but never forgot blues.

During the 2002 he becomes Big Mojo to produce its own music and create a fusion between electronica and roots like blues and funk, and he does his dj sets on few italian clubs and european open air festivals. 

He also produce and make music with different projects like: Jass (D:vision), Spacebeats (Soulshine Recordings, Irma Records), Wasabi Devotion (Hypotron Records), Supersonix (Irma Records) and his proper name Cesare Ferioli (Soundiva)

JAMBALAY RECORDS is born in MAY 2010. It's purpose is to create a movement in the house scene wich is inspirated by African cultures, by focusing on that jazzy,soulful deep tribal sound that permeates house and techno from the roots. The name itself is a manifesto, as long as JAMBALAYA is a dish from the south of U.S.A. which is composed by all kinds of vegetables,meat,fish,beans and corn. It is a very popular dish that brings a strong taste , coming from the African slave's kitchen,mixing with some elements from French and Spanish one. Also this means a blending of different cultures , a way to look at the past stepping into the future, in a mystical dimension.

Milanesi Roberto was born on 06/15/1964 in Bologna Italy.Once graduated as a solicitor in the University of Bologna he decided to follow his passion and opened his first Tattoo Studio in Bologna in 1993. Since he was a child he showed off his passion for music and his punk attitude that bring him to cross the underground punk and new wave scene as a singer and drummer in various band such as UXIDI DC, DIES IRAE and OK, PANIC!. At the age of 33 he started out a long path in west african drums, following courses and workshops with great masters, such as Assane Adissa,Bruno Genero,Billy Nankouma Konate,Brahima Dembele,Enrico Fronza,Famodou Konate,Sourakata Dioubate,Seny Toure.Also he was founder of ensemble Benkadi ,that after became an association,promoting worshops and courses for many african dancers ,like Dian Camara and Ismail Bangoura,playing live percussions during the courses and in many theatre( second place in UMBRIA DANCE FESTIVAL as best group and coreography) and street performances like Ferrara Buskers Festival,IMOLA IN FESTA and so on. In 2006 he started out a course of african percussion and a collaboration with a crossover folk music big band called ‘’Jambalaya feat Bangs in the Fog’’where he arranged the drums parts . Around year 2000 he bought his first Apple computer and begin to play the same electronic music he was used to do with machines like Roland MC 303, made easyer to do by Pro Tools and Reason. He started producing home music of different styles and bpm :IDM,TRIBAL TEKNO,GOA TRANCE,PROGRESSIVE DREAM ,DEEP TECHOUSE,SOULFUL HOUSE,ELECTROMINIMAL,HIP HOP,DOWNTEMPO/CHILL OUT that he used to play as a dj with 100% self produced sets, mixing out in a particular way and linking music with visuals that he also produces.
