 Tom Knutson is a baby-boomed son of the Midwest who not only writes his own songs but gives them a voice of sincere expression. The last of a generation's echo when music meant more than blatant self promotion, violence and misogyny to a redundant hip hop beat, or twang all too redundant across the radio dial.

 In a glut of assembly line manufactured cell phone idols who are tin can parrots of a polluted talent pool of pop radio wannabes, Knutson resonates strongly of that pure sound of the 1970s when artists could be themselves, play an electric or acoustic guitar and have an individual sound and sentiment to add to it. It is a sound that defies time because the lyrics speak to you with pied piper melodies to the heart and mind as well the ear. A sound so sorely absent from today's radio playlists. Knutson is a refreshing reminder of what music could be when it is finely crafted, and what radio once was, something you will want to listen to again and again.
