Defying easy categorisation, Leeds-born Edwin van Cleef creates electronic music that pulses with neon-tinged analogue energy. His approach first captured international attention with a transformative take on Phoenix's "Lisztomania," landing spots on Ministry of Sound's Uncovered Volume 3 and Avex's Off The Rocker compilation, marking him as a producer to watch.

His EP "Never Be Alone at Night," featuring Chicago's Gemini Club, showcased his gift for crafting bold, memorable hooks. His work as a remixer has drawn an impressive roster including Chilly Gonzales, Nelly Furtado, and Shinichi Osawa.

Now, after years of exploration, Edwin has re-emerged with analog hardware and tape machines in tow, weaving the textured warmth of vintage gear with the technicolor energy of the 80s and 90s. The result is electronic music that feels both deeply personal and instantly memorable.

Popskarr is a Electronic/Nu-Disco/Chill Wave/ Misty pop (call it what you want) band from Cape town South Africa. Popskarr was started in early 2009 and consists of Yannick Ilunga and Terrence Pearce. They met after Yannick went to a show that Terrence was Djing at and introduced himself after the show. After a while Yannick met Spoek Mathambo (Sweat X/Playdoe) whom ironically suggested that he meet with Terrence. Yannick could sing and play guitar whilst Terrence could produce the tracks, alas,Popskarr was born....



The Record Machine is a pioneering homegrown independent record label based in Kansas City, Missouri. The label was founded in 2003 when we released our first record for the James Dean Trio. In the 11 years since then we have worked with bands from all over the United States. Our current roster is Chambers, Stolen Nations, Ghastly Menace, Cowboy Indian Bear, La Guerre, Little Legend, Max Justus, The Noise FM, Palace, Spirit Is The Spirit, Soft Reeds, and State Bird. Our goal is to make an organic community of artists and help connect them with listeners. Tim Finn of The Kansas City Star remarked about The Record Machine’s output “[They] have assembled a stable of diverse artists who are making music that deserves national attention.”
