Two ultra-wet, slippery dancehall mutations, completed during the hottest summer days in a few sweaty sessions at Studio Distante.

Manila Killer Float is an uplifting bubbly dancehall thing with a Vybz Kartel acapella chopped up and sprinkled on top. Tried to fight gravity and catch the last summer breeze with the beat floating on those airy pads – and of course celebrating the release from prison of the World Boss.

Slippery Ruff is the chugger-town cousin of Slippery Tuff, from INDEX:records EP I Lost All My Data. I took the bpm down from 120 to 90 and ruff‘d it up with some extra dust and bass weight for good measure.

This double reading is just like the duo it refers to: both a story of deep friendship and a quest for sounds, meanings, textures, mechanics and machines. 

This new EP from Cwtch invites you to pursue a new exploration alongside the two producers, who illuminate the epic with abyssal bass, transcendental rhythms and a superposition of synthetic tribal resonances. Four tracks and two remixes by RM Estali and Fels create this sacred ritual at the crossroads of techno, ambient and jungle, painted like a pagan work on the walls of the electronic music abyss.

Grid kicks off 2025 with a new 5-track EP from London producer Blank Patrick! (@blankpatrick) The release binds together different aesthetics, with hiphop-derived sounds and vocals as the binder.

Beginning with the darkness and tension of “Cement Bonds to Marble”, the journey gradually lightens with the heavy, deafening subs of “Canine Growing Backwards”. 
The BPM then picks up on the supercharged, colorful “Gun Dog”, cleverly combining softness with a muscular, sweaty ambience. 
The unpredictable 4th track “Esperanto”, where house synths and grooves are mixed with infinite breaks and assertive claps, is sure to get dancefloor fans hooked, whether at night or in the early hours of the morning. 
Finally, the light will definitely get the better of the darkness with the potential hit “UU EE”, which closes the EP with more lightness and second degrees.

Manipulating waveforms and envelopes like a physio, disrupting social communication channels to offer a spectrum on which to dance, this is why we love so much the wobbly music of dark rooms in off-plan apartments, which sway you like stellar objects. 
Based in France, Flower B seeks to transform noise and frequencies into dark drums like strong words, syllables cooking in a microwave oven. The opener ‘K:umbia’ is a bold reinterpretation of cumbia rhythms, layered with experimental electronic textures and basslines that nod to his eclectic influences.
