Big Street: vero nome Juri Leone, classe ’87, rapper, from Verona. Appassionato alla cultura Hip Hop dal 2002, inizia a scrivere i primi testi, spronato dal fratello Igor (Tomcat). Conosce Liba (all’epoca Wida) nel 2003, insieme a Tomcat fondano la crew OGP (Origine Protetta), confluita poi in FMc (Fumo Misto click), inizia così una collaborazione abbastanza intensa per tutto il biennio 2003/2004, periodo in cui verranno scritte, prodotte e registrate amatorialmente una decina di pezzi in collaborazione e solista. Nel 2006 le strade di Big S e Liba si dividono per ricongiungersi nel 2014, in questo lasso di tempo per entrambi resta comunque intatta la passione per il Rap e la cultura Hip Hop. Dal 2014, anno in cui Big S conosce e stringe amicizia con la scena rap di Verona, arriva a calcare il palco in diverse occasioni (per le sue 8 barre ne il “Branco” (indimenticabile Iseo Suona la sua prima apparizione) e nella battle di freestyle Mic War Freestyle al Sin City (Negrar)). Spronati anche dalle situazioni, Big S e Liba tornano quindi a formare un duo che li porterà alla realizzazione nel 2018 di “Alla Nostra” il demo (Primitivo Records) primo lavoro ufficiale autoprodotto e distribuito in free download e su cd, mixato da Menevolt (Rovereto) che vede la partecipazione di Flesha (Verona) ai piatti. Sempre nel 2018 è uscito per Primitivo Records e G-Funk Vibez Records il singolo “Still Standing” su beat di Still G (Milano), collaborazione nata dalla stima e rispetto reciproco per ciò che entrambi producono. In attesa per il 2019, c’è il primo album ufficiale del duo “R.A.P. – Ragione Amore Passione“.

Lo stile di Big Street è uno stile semplice e chiaro fatto da un flow costante e comprensibile, dove sono le parole e le rime le vere protagoniste dei suoi pezzi. Gli argomenti trattati nei suoi pezzi sono di natura introspettiva e sociale su vari temi di cronaca/storici, dove intrinseca si ritrova la responsabilità del vero rapper, ovvero l’utilizzo del Rap come un mezzo effettivo di comunicazione non solo per se stessi ma anche per gli altri, usato non solo per stare meglio, ma anche smuovere le coscienze.
